The reason why i hide my real name is because my volunteer work would be affected if my identity was out in the open.
On the other hand, my friends from SH know my real name.
It's all about finding out who you can and cant trust.

Sorry to dissapoint you Alexandra but I am not hiding my online status and even though I don't use my real name I have never hidden my online status and I have never implied anything about being ashamed about being on SH. If you are on here to talk to people or to meet people how can you if they don't know if you are online or not.

In that case - my apologies Alan, the reason I suspected you were hidden is you name did not appear in the online members list (and yes I had refreshed the list). I can say though I was not dissappointed in any way - I just thought it ironic.
However, you had indeed suggested that being hidden may indicate being ashamed of being on here.....
