:bounce: :bounce: Yippee I just booked our summer frollicks. Can't wait!!!!
Eerrmm confused ooh I know :!: What's best in your opinion :?: booking a week before you go or booking 11 months in advance in terms of enjoyment and lead up factor.
Me first. It has to be the late booking for me as I have an impulsive nature and if I booked 11 months in advance I would find a million reasons why I did'nt want to go there or something else more pressing to do on that particular date or worse something better to spend the money on. This way there's no time to change my mind.

We just came back from holiday this week and ive got the brochures out ready to look for next years one. I always like to plan our holidays. I love to have something to look forward to and so do the kids. Its also a good thing booking early as it give us time to pay it off and save up as it does cost a small fortune taking three kids away. Ohh and dont forget the free child places biggrin
Louise xx

On a more serious note though, the free child places annoy me greatly because they inflate the prices of the paying passengers to cover the cost of them
Also to think of it, you dont really save that much after they have added all the fuel costs, supplements, crappy in-flight meals that wouldnt feed a mouse rolleyes
louise xx
I hear ya banghead
Thats why companies like me dynamicaly package it... ie... flights, accom and transfers/car hire seperately!
Saves you hundreds instead of £500 each sometimes its that for both of you!!!!!!!!!!!

 Can't beat abit of dynamic packaging.
My main hols are skiing so I wait to see the snow reports before booking.
Latest I have booked was a Thursday for a departure on the following Saturday. Tends to mean that I get some very cheap deals.
Im on hols now.... though not *holidaying* as such...
hope to learn to drive, get a licence, buy a bus... and hit the road. Do you reckon thats posible in just over a week?

I'm trying to book a last minute surprise holiday for Mrs Kiss and I for next week - but I only want to go away from Monday to Friday as we have commitments already both weekends.
Can I find one? No. Well not yet anyway. All the places I want to go are offering 7 nights.
If anyone has a property in Chamonix or the Alps can I borrow it please?
I nearly booked one in Morocco but I don't think Mrs Kiss would find that as appealing as I would.
Awwwww I dunno!!! I can see me faffing and ending up not booking anything in time. evil

Morning Kiss kiss , try

they've loads of last min deals, we got one from there 3 yrs ago to Turkey.
I'd wanted to book Morocco for next yr but I've been outvoted on the basis they'll haggle us to death, shame tho I really want to experience their culture.

I don't want...........last minute deal...........holiday deal.......50/50 you may get a good/ bad holiday !
I have only 2 weeks and I want fun..........skimpy body..........and sun !, I don't want to chance it confused
Inside me is a chancer and wanting the unexpected..........but I soooooooooooooooo want to be in control tooooo
HELP !!!!!!!!!!
Have to say agree with Mrs FC's sentiment, I too like the looking forwrd to a well planned holiday.
I am so fussy that once I start researching a country/area, within a few hours i have decided the area, where NOT to go, which type of accomodation is best, down to the final details. Then I know my holiday will be great because it encompasses all that.
However recently we did a last minute booking, the stress of us both trying to get a good deal was awful!! We did get a good deal and we were lucky I think as we still researched loads but got terribly frustrated at having little choice.
