ewww no, I only need the noises from the film. Their idea of background noise was unpleasant.
I'd have turned my back on the screen and sat munching popcorn and watching them until they'd got the message :lol2:
I think it can be incredibly arousing hearing people being intimate like that, but only if it's appropriate. In a club or house party, through the walls to the room next door in a hotel perhaps - they can all be pretty horny listening in.
In the cinema when I've paid good money to watch a film? Nope. Not good.
Nope I would definitely want to be allowed to watch the film....can't imagine having to watch Mamma Mia with slurpy gloopy noises going on behind me
I'd just start farting loudly then ask them how they like it.
It's all in the delivery
I agree with most others above - very uncalled for behaviour - wrong time and place totally.
I think I would have asked the management for a bucket of cold water to throw over them!
It is a great film Lyns.. and thankfully was slurping free.
damn...some people have all the luck.... the only noises I get when at the cinema is slurping drink and munching doritos noises ... or last time when took daughter to see "high School Musical 3" I just got screaming in my ears every time Troy appeared on screen !!
I have been unable to add to this thread as I think I am still in shock at the whole incident. I am usually the first one to tell someone to shut up, be quiet, stop kicking my chair etc in the cinema, I am not a lady to be messed with when trying to enjoy a good film!!!
I was however so embarrassed with this I was stunned into silence. Fortunately only Splendid did the visual check hear so at least I was spared that, although I dont know what I found worse actually hearing it, or smelling it, it was so gross - ewww I feel sooo violated.
Must be a new THX addition to Dolby Digital or Sony SDDS.
Sloppy Surround with Smell-O-Vision.
