Hotels and motels

Hi,
As I cannot use my house for any meet up I need to use a hotel or motel for a meet with a lady that I have become friends with.
Are there certain hotels or motels that take cash with no questions asked as I do not want to use my credit card etc.
I notice that a lot of members seem to do regular hotel meet ups so wondered if they could offer any advice about this.

We've stayed in a fair few hotels on our travels, not just for meeting "special friends". Guess a lot depends on the quality (probably wrong word) of the hotel, more likely to be policy of the hotel. Most we've been to take a card swipe against the room to cover any optional extras mini bar, room service etc to protect themselves and make it easier to checking out.
If its a necessity that its cash and no records probably best to phone a local one ahead and ask (perhaps mention that you haven't got a credit card as you don't trust the banks??) Lol

Just a thought but have you considered grabbing hold of a pay as you go 'credit card' as in no bills, just put some money on it by way of say paying cash in at bank which then tops your card up with funds?
Most of them when applying will send you some documentation and require copies of identifying docs, but once you got it thats it, no bills sent home with the majority of them..all done online. A card such as the Kalixa card does not credit check you when applying either?.

Be aware that some of these cards do not allow 'adult purchases' but a Hotel Room isn't that.

Are you sure?
