I have been sitting here wondering for days that we seem to need an injection people posting on the forums it seems of late to be really slow you can tell from the first page how quickly post move off the page and new ones appear that things have slowed somewhat.
I have tried opening a forum chat room thinking it might get people from here and new people popping in so we could try to encourage people to come here.
I think there is room enough here for oldies and newbies alike
There always seems to people showing in the café that never seem to post, how can we encourage you to make threads and post?
What are others views?
How do we bring a buzz back in this place?
Or is it just me that seems to think things seems slow?
Is opening a forum chat room a good way to encourage people to use the forums?
Anything is worth a try.
After years of being on SH I go on chat now, something I never did until early this year, and it's clear there are a lot of chatters who never look at here but as I said until January I never popped 'over there' either, now I'm addicted twice as bad!
after a little kissie-kissie?

Just lets hope that this thread is not going to turn into a "Nock a Mod a Day" thread.
I will remain in the background untill some form of sanity returns,

Can I lock this thread yet? Can I :giggle:
Bloody Hell!!!!!!!
All I did was state what a newbie said to me when I asked them why they didn't post in the forum.
They didn't say "oh all the MODS love locking newbies"
they said a name. The reason I said they named names was to stop any feeling that it was all MODS. To stop things being political it would perhaps be better if everyone didn't just jump on anything they didn't agree with.
The thread asked a question. I stated an opinion given to me that I thought was relevant and now it seems everyone is in a bloody tizzy.
What have I learnt?
Newbies don't post because some of the forumites are unforgiving and pernickety. This is or can be a very unforgiving place to be.
