And to answer this thread seriously.....
I believe it's a combination of the forums and the munches which have made SH such a success.
The cafe is warm and friendly (for the most part) with diverse conversation and humour, but because so many have met and know each other personally the sense of community comes through on the forum. I remember as a newbie wanting to be part of it too.
Yeah sure we have inner fighting and things kick off every now and again, but we're a caring supportive community too.
Can it be duplicated?
I'm still enjoying this one too much to be arsed to look for anything else that may or may not even come close.
