How do I make a web site?

Hi Guys. I want to build my own small website, say about 2 or 3 pages of some general musings on my life so far, some pics and some mobile video files.
Does anyone know where i'd start? I have no html expierience and dont really want to pay for a domain name. Not keen on Rupert Murdoch's censorship supporting myspace or there ilk (Freespeech needs to be supported). So where do I begin? Thanks in advance.

Have you got any free space that comes with your connection provider ? Have a look in their help section it should say and i'd be supprised if you havent got any.

Oh and to make pages try something like HTML-Kit its free (or was). It works like a word processor and does the code in the back ground.
Or
Buy this months Computer Shopper mag there is a free version of Netobjects Fusion if you want a bit more advanced software and it has templates so you dont have to worry about layout too much

My Opera is fab and very easy to use..... it combines blog / photos etc etc....... and best of all its FREE!
just click sign up and follow your nose - its a great introduction!

There are plenty of free website hosts out there... one I found.
If you're really interested in the actual coding/html side of things then just . ;-)
