I was just eating a kiwi today and wondered how do you eat yours?
Do you skin it, cut it into slices or what.
I pinch it at the flower end and pull it in half. If I am lucky I give half to a loverly lady. Then I take hold of the furry skin and squeeze, putting it to my lips, I force the flesh from the skin into my mouth. If I am lucky there is a drip which has to be licked off.
How do you eat yours?
I saw the title and thought, mmm, Rachel from Auckland....
The answer would be 'noisily in a bedsit in Leyton'
with a teaspoon...cut it in half and eat the flesh like you would a boiled egg from its shell.
Like awayman (and who wouldn't!) my first thought was Matt from Wellington...
Among other things, he taught me that the correct way to eat one (a chinese gooseberry) was to rub off the hairy bits from the skin and then just eat it - no namby pamby peeling!
And the second thought: are you trying to do a D H Lawrence fig thing?
How? ....I gave it to someone else. what a boring bloody fruit
I rarely buy these as I only like them in fruit salad and it's such a chore having to peel and slice them.
Plim
I just swallow them whole, like penises.
I don't eat them because they are horrid ... I would say that they are like eating slime covered sand!!
Yes, I do the 'boiled egg' thing too. Cut the top off and then eat the flesh with a teaspoon.
Will
I don't... they give me ulcers
So how do you eat banana? Do you peel them and break a piece off with your fingers to eat; the right way, I am told. That is not the way I do it. I peel back the skin, exposing the firm fruit, then take the tit into my mouth and.......bit.
