I've travelled for one off meets but I do prefer my regular partner to be local ( as in 7 miles away if my meet tomorrow goes well  )
I'll travel for a meet but only if we've met socially at a munch/social beforehand
I'm a honeypot............... rolleyes
After being let down countless times, no more than 20 miles now.
id travel anywhere for you Lucy
Oooh, been to Manchester (lots) and that's about 40 miles. Also North Wales and Warrington, which are a bit nearer. Then Leeds is further; ditto Preston, Chorley and Bolton. Also travelled down to Milton Keynes for one meet.
Not being a driver, if the place is on a decent trainline then I'll get there. Nowhere is hugely far really is it?
In fact, I prefer to travel a fair bit as I'm not overly keen on local meets for discretion purposes.
There's only been once that I was disappointed after travelling and paying for a hotel and the person let me down. The rest of the time I actually think that getting out and about adds to the 'adventure' aspect of the meet.
(Maybe I just need a holiday! rolleyes )

I've travelled a a few hours for someone I really wanted to meet, and I've been travelled to from the other end of the country as well.
However I've also been told by one guy that a 45 minute drive was too much if I wouldn't guarantee to have sex!
i have been to belfast, wales, scotland, herts, birmingham, nottingham, all over the bloomin country really, have car will travel,

i have to agree with you on this one.. i love getting out and going new places. and if its an excuse to meet someone then great...
distance has never been an issue for me... i'd be more than happy to travel anywhere for the right person(s). back in my early days i more weekend away from birmingham, then actually in it. the world is too small, and there are too many great people out there to pass them by because of the distance..... fair enought all my traveling is done by trains so i tend to fall asleep and wake up at my destination.... and touch wood... only missed my stop once!.
i once traveled for 45 mins to chesterlee street from teeside after recieving a text to set off and then took ages just trying to find the place so satnav essential. after all this i knocked on the door and no one answered despite being in. this person was a member of clubf. so i set off home and she was still texting me. this turned out to be a hoax so id say be very careful and consider the distance and time. yes shopping may be a good option depends what time of day tho.
