And they thought I hadn't got you well trained :smug:
dont mind ironing but i have to be in the right mood, as there is only me i can do it when i please, normally watching a good film, with a few cans or a bottle of wine and am well happy
Earthy xx
I don't mind ironing...probably because my mother, sister, daughters and ex partners are/were all rubbish at it. I've ironed my own clobber for years and years and have mastered this activity...and proud of it too..!!!
It's a great feeling knowing all my clother are ready to throw on regardless of the venue.
CC.... cool
ps. Oh... I have to listen to muzic whilst I iron.
I iron every day
and clean
and cook
and help the kids with the homework
all after a 10 hour shift
a man's work is never done wink
I love ironing especially when some one else is doing it.
biggrin

Tell me you can breath through your ears and I'll marry you
Given a choice between ironing and dishes, I'd choose dishes any time. There's something almost relaxing about washing dishes. The only reason there's currently a pile that's almost touching the ceiling is because I'm already sufficiently relaxed and don't need any more.
My clothes never get ironed (unless my mother comes to visit and I don't stop her in time). Even the clothes that need ironing don't get it. It's part of my 'look'. Yeah, that's it. It's not because I'm a lazy bugger at all. It's a fashion statement.
The only thing I EVER iron is my Dobok- and thats only coz my instructor would literally kick my arse otherwise.
Theres one guy I train in who thinks this makes me a complete waste of space as he does all his own ironing, I really couldn't give a shit! Life is way toooooo much fun to waste ironing!

I have spent over 18hours in the past 2 days ironing for the entire house (there is only 4 of us!)
I have just discovered muscles in my arms I never knew existed! biggrin
Any one else hate ironing or any tips on how to get it done without it taking half of the week?

Awwwwwww babes... I pay someone to do mine x
Will exchange ironing for sexual favours wink
Most clothes apart from designer specials and bespokery are made inside out and then turned out and tweaked to make the final finish.
So for most of your items turn them inside out. You will see all the seams etc. Most clothes are made on flat tables by machinists, and the clothes are cut to make their work easy. So they nearly all start life as two dimensional objects.
This is how you need to iron them, lay them out and iron away from the seams and generally tweak them back into their original shapes.
It pays to do this when they are still just a little moist. Possibly use a steam powered iron.
biggrin
i love ironing .. watch the telly ... sit on a high stool ... loads of ironing .. and a wee dinky poo ... bliss .!!! lol xx

I am lucky enough to actually be the owner of a super shop in Bradford which does nothing but ironing,I have 3 lovely girls that find ironing soothing and theraputic (saddos) and get well paid. We are incredibly busy but have room for more but sadly you will have to pay for this service and you will have to get it to bradford lol. Its true I really do !!
