How old is too old?

We were watching the C5 show and asking ourselves the same question, Jen said she would have played with the older guy possibly but women who were that much older just weren't her thing. I would tend to agree, above a point it becomes a bit weird and starts to feel like the other people are more our parents age (especially for Jen).
Admittedly we are a bit shallow and are probably more interested in the other people being reasonably attractive rather than becoming lifelong friends, but thats just us ;)

Surely it depends on what you (or the couple/individual) want from swinging. dunno

Many couples go to clubs just to have sex with each other in a sexy relaxed environment. So what has age got to do with that? confused

Surely all couples and singles age at the same rate (unless one couple/single travels through a wormhole) so as that couple/single becomes more mature in their years - so will their fellow swingers, will they not? In years to come there will be more people of senior years still involved in the swinging club scene.
I would guess people give up when they are ready to give up or when they give up on sex.
So no Debs - you can forget the tummy tuck and body lift - everyone else is getting gravity syndrome and wrinkly too! wink

In Addition....
So many people on here have stated strongly that physical appearance is not an issue with them â€“ they look for personalities. So I guess they will be up for it with a friendly and charmingly pleasant wrinkly of any age! :lol:

There is no such thing as too old - but think one has to allow for age diffrences - each person has a feel for how much younger or older they want ....you are as young as the person you are feeling... at 45 for me it does not always feel right with anyone below 30 ......Perhaps there should be a Saga Swingers site.....

And instead of wank parties and munches they could do things like knitting circles ('You can unravel my wool any day baldie....') daytrips to National Trust sites (with Edna at the back of the coach spreading the baps and dishing out crumpets, offering her flask to anyone with wrinkles....) and coffee mornings at each others' houses (so everyone gets the chance to air their bunions in private).

Not trying to be patronising, maybe couples like these could do better in swinging clubs geared for older retired couples which seemed to be some of the problem with the Yorkshire couple in the recent Wife Swap on TV. The place they went to was a bit too upbeat for them and they were a bit folksy. To an extent, swinging will always be about people fucking people who are up to their standard in physical appearance. Okay there are fews exceptions (as highlighted in various posts) and some people are luckier than others.
If a person is able to and wants to continue swinging, I don't see no reason for an 80 year old to stop swinging. They'd just have to be realistic and accept that their choice of swinging partners will likely be limited to a SAGA swinging clubs in the possible future. This must already be in the pipeline for some business adventurer......

Not sure that I agree entirely with you Lusty. I accept that younger people would frankly not be interested in swinging with the couple in the program or with the 65 y/o that burnie mentioned, and likewise younger people wouldn't necessarily fancy me, BUT..........
At the end of the program the couple did say they fancied getting a party together to go back, presumeably this would mean like minded couples or whatever that would potentially find each other attractive. I also recall on a recent thread someone said that this particular club did do an "oldies" thing on Sundays (correct me if I'm wrong someone)
At my age (50) I could well be attracted to someone aged 65 if they looked good to me,and me to them. likewise I'd feel the same with someone in their late 30's or 40's. Any younger than that would likely be a turn off for me (at the end of the day my kids are in their late 20's) and yes I know the feeling would probably be mutual.
Like you I don't see any reason for an 80 y/o to stop swinging, but where we differ is that I don't believe that the 80 y/o (or 65 y/o come to that) has to go somewhere else to enjoy their passion. As long as they realise their potential limitations i.e. younger people may not fancy them so don't try too hard, it should be ok
It wouldn't be good for a club to have younger members walk out because the place was overun by oldies, but likewise if the oldies are there in moderate numbers, (just as single guys are accepted in moderate numbers) and everybody is enjoying themselves what would be the problem.

I always thought it was rude to ask peoples ages, so how do I know the oldest woman I have had fun with?

havent read the thread as im in a rush but thought id mention, a few older (probably in their 70s) couples are regulars in rios and they never seem to have trouble finding single men to join them in a back room. not m cuppa but live and let live i say.

I must still clearly be going at the wrong time!! I was trying to chat to a delightful couple who were at least 50 if not 60 last time I was in Rio's but I think I did too much polite chatting and not enough indicating that i wanted some fun as they cleared off.
I have been led to belive I have had oral with an 80 plus year old woman, and would happily do it again. This is older than my grandma but I don't look it at that way, the way I see it is that if I am making her happy and she is making me happy then as long as she is 18+ (but have to admit I get more excited at 40+) age is no problem at all.
Just for the record I don't do full penetration.

If that bit someone said is true about a club having mature days can they please let me know.
