To be honest I think its best to be open about it but I think wearing a badge would be a bit extreme
I had been bi curious for a long long time and felt a little ashamed to say anything to my hubby redface
But after 4 years of being married he noticed that i got of on nice comments from females and also noticed i quite often looked at other womens arses and legs ect lol
Now i have gone all the way with a couple of other women and i have come to terms with my sexuality i am very open about being bi and i am proud of it....best of both worlds
Although saying that, ermmmmm i don't know if i could tell my family yet
Anyone know a good way of telling your family your bi?
I cant answer that one as Im str8 but I know my dad would disaprove of me getting into this kind of scene
Being relatively new to the entire thing, I'm still quite hush-hush about it around friends and family (especially the bi-curious part!) but I'm hoping that with some time and after getting to make friends who are also into the swinging/nsa fun I can become more open about it.

sorry mike48 for asking a question in your thread, just released what i did, i will make a new thread lol
Hiya Mike biggrin
Well I am pretty open about my sexuality, all my mates know I am bi and most of my workmates do as well :P I haven't told my parents yet..but then again they have never sat me down and asked, " Are you a rug muncher dear ?" , so I haven't felt it necessary to tell them ;)
I did have a few wierd looks from friends initially (prob convinced I was gonna pounce on them lol), but now they have got used to it and regard it as one of my 'quirks' i guess smile
As for my workmates..well they are mostly blokes so you can imagine what the reaction was from them! My boss describes me as " the most sexually liberated woman he knows"...which works for me ;)
That said I don't go around flaunting my sexuality, I mean it's not a rare thing to be a bi woman these days, but if it comes up I won't lie about it either.
I get more ridicule from being Welsh than being bi :lol2:
However I will say that it seems to be much more acceptable to be a bi female than a bi male outside of our types of community, which is a real shame cos I think bi males rock

Open about swinging amongst my friends but I couldn't handle my kids finding out. I think I could probably lose my job if I was open about it too, so I really hope none of my students are reading this!
I am very open about swinging and being bi with friends and colleagues. They are all quite positive about it and I think some of them would be up for it themselves. Did have one problem where the jack the lad str8 guy came onto me though lol
My wife has to be a bit more discreet because of her posistion but some of her collegues know and don't have any problems with it.
Just a cautionary note; when we were introduced to swinging, we had a great time at parties etc until our hostess got caught out by the local rag, one of the Sundays and as a result lost her job. A large part of the world still has hang ups.
I'm perfectly happy for people to know I'm bi, provided I've chosen to tell them and they need to know. smile
Outside of that condition I keep it to myself.
Simple really! wink  :rascal:

I can't see why you could lose your job because you are a swinger. I work for the NHS and everybody is shagging someone else where I work smile At least my wife is with me when I shag someone else lol

"I get more ridicule from being welsh than bi"...... and so you bloody should minx lmao
Many people on the SH site are very open about all sorts of things. However away from the site they are more selective about what they reveal and to whom. I do this also.
It is no good for your self esteem to reveal something to the wrong type of people and then have to live with it. Sometimes at great cost to your physical and mental health.
So just be careful and do your research before gabbing off.
Have fun and take care.
