How sexually obsessed are you?

I was thinking to ressurect the topic "What have you learnt from swinging" then I thought this could do with a topic of its own.
One thing I have learnt is I am not as sexually obesessed as a lot of the people I have met on the swinging scene. I would go further and say I dont even have the sex drive they do and I think maybe the sex drive contributes to the level of obsession dunno

For me swinging happens on meets and at clubs and late night when I log on to check messages etc. I dont now even consider the daily postings I do to be related as they mostly are not they are the same as any other forums. Have met though couples and singles that are on the go with everything from wake up to go to bed. One guy we met has 5 woman on text at most times and can hardly chat to you for looking at his phone. Some people are in chat all day, some out 4-5 times a week. I have even found Mrs Tweeky to be more driven/obsessed than me. She's more smartphone friendly than me and on a few occasions whilst at the park with the kids Ive noted xxxx site on the screen and said lol turn that off we are in the park! For me I have to live the life in front of my eyes i.e. the kids playing doing the gardening etc. Though I notice lots of people who seem to be on it all the time for want of a better phrase.
Where do you fit in?

I'm in agreement with you, mr tweeky, I very much live in the now....if I have kids around then I'm certainly not thinking about getting a shag....and flirting doesn't have to be sexually motivated, although I'll concede to there being constant undertones.
I realised, however, quite some time ago, that I've been addicted to sex for much of my life...not the same thing as being obsessed with chatrooms and swinging encounters. Of course I'm getting older now, and I find I often couldn't care less about where the next shag's coming from, that's probably made easier by knowing just how easy it is to find sex, and in Brighton it's really easy.
So, in direct response to the question, I'd say I spend a lot of time, that when I'm home alone, thinking about sex and sexual encounters. Probably close to accurate to say that I spend half of my waking hours thinking about it or actively doing something sexually related.

I like sex. I like food. I am as likely to be day dreaming about either anytiume I am not doing anything else. I wouldn't say I am addicted to or obsessed with food, so I'm sure I'm not addicted/obsessed about sex.
But if I shag-snacked like I food-snacked I think I would be put away. :giggle: But I'd also be a lot thinner.

I don't really know what the norm is, so I don't know if I think about it a lot or not! It all depends on what's happening at home. We've both got busy lives, so sometimes I guess I'm a bit more frustrated than at other times. I'll sometimes find myself walking down the street saying "I need sex..." over and over in my head! That's probably not emotionally healthy, I guess!

I believe, in comparison to just about everyone I've ever spoken to on here, I have a very low sex drive. I also tend to go through phases, dip in and out, I'm not very consistent in that sense.
Over the years, I've put in a lot of long shifts on this site but mostly 'cos I had nothing else to do at the time. Now, life is a lot busier, this place is more my down time than my full time. I think, before, it was because it was all very new to me so the obsession came from fresh excitement, anticipation, all those lovely exhilarating emotions.
I guess I'm just a tad jaded now.
edit: just looked at the Bucket List thread and realised there is nothing sexual on mine. Says it all, really.

I feel I need to clarify my metaphor.. I was not referring to good sex vs great sex..I meant wank-snacking (wanking) is eating food from Iceland..shag-snacking (shagging someone) is eating food from the finest.
