Easy stuff really...
By dressing up as a superhero, you can storm cathedral buildings, visit the queen and even get a few mates into parliment. Of cause they did NOT want to shoot batman on the balcony, it was obvious he was a protestor, BUT you have to ponder is Osama Bin Laden is watching this UK daftness and thinking...'I know lets get a suicide bomber to walk into one of these places and show it can be done'?
I mean, lets be honest it makes security seem so lax, that anyone with a medium of some sense could get in to cause such damage.
I am genuinely worried that something WILL go terribly wrong, and if I can think of this, surely those with a will to do damage will find the way to do this too?
do you know what..... i was thinking the same thing and i have written in another topic... biggrin :D :D from a slighty different point of view... i'll just copy it and put it here.....

Sorry Sean...
I did not read it, but I feel it is too easy to see where this COULD go? Like I said these peole plan meticulously, so it is very much a frightening possibility...!
when "batman" invaded buckingham palace, i heard so many people that he could have been a terrorist and should have been shot.....
yet i saw five people yesterday invade the houses of parliment yesterday and do i hear the same reaction?????
and this was more sinister....they dressed up as builders to blend in, they got help from the inside, and aperently did a reccy the day before... even the BBC had a tip-off to say what was happening the day before.....
so why the double standard???
Hello there
It's just a thought, the reason why they wanted to shoot the guy dressed as Batman was because he was just an ordinay guy,but it would not be right to shoot some toff horray henry!! It's just a thought!
Had they shot the idiot dressed as Batman then we would have had to have an inquiry supervised by the IPCC which would have wasted a lot of public money. Also as he was unarmed the officer would have been at risk of being charged with murder. In relation to the Commons invasion the protestor had already got passed the armed officers the Sergeant at Arms and the doorkeepers are not armed so they could not have shot them at the time they were noticed.

I do agree,to a point.
Im sure terrorists who can hi-jack planes and fly them into buildings causing mass casualties can think up more sinister things to do than that.
The problem is that terrorists and the master minds behind these fateful tragedies are much more intelligent than the average joe, thats what is so frightening.
They are calculating and will think up something far worse and having more far reaching consequences than that, while making some money on the stock market at the same time.
I am also genuinely worried that something WILL go wrong and that it is simply a matter of time until it does, but i believe tht when it does that it will be far worse than something like that, unfortunately!
The government want you to be scared. It's all hype they use to keep you indoors behaving like good little citizens.
Hitler burnt down the Reichstag and blamed the communists ... He then used it to justify a clampdown on civil liberties and introduce dictatorial rule.

your right! Also the press are always the first to say what are the police doing to protect us but if anyone had been shot they would be the first to say that the police have become trigger happy! Thankfully we have a police force that don't shoot first and ask questions later.

Fair enough it wasnt exactly a clever thing to do but the guy was making a fair protest I think anyway, as far as idiots are concerned I would say the idiots are the ones who were meant to be head of security and also no offence but I really dont give a fuck about the royal family the only thing they are good at is bringing in money for tourism!
As for the men behind the scenes of terrosrism the only intelligent thing they do is get other poor saps believing they are actually helping the situation (yes obviously brainwashing) You wouldnt see osama with a bomb strapped to him! Its more to do with the lapse in security!!
Government agencies I imagine did know about september 11th before it happened (maybe not all the details but enough to be able to tighten up security!!) Look at the IRA they even had special codewords they would use in a telephone call to arert about bombs to enable security services to distinguish wether it was a hoax bomb or not and wether it actually came from the IRA!
blah blah blah sorry Im gonna shut up now! confused
What got to me was not the fact that people got into Parliment.
It was the protesters out side wreaking havoc on the police.
If they were true fox hunters, who seem to be middle to upper class peeps.
Then one would believe that these fox hunters would have a good social standing.
If that is true, why would they put themselves at risk of prosecution.
I personally think that there were people there trying to entice riots.
Am I right in thinking this, or! Am I talking a load of bollox confused:

Problem is without being there and seeing what was going on its impossible to tell who started what and if the police over reacted... it did seem on some reports that people were being pushed forward by thoes behind and the police just decided to bang some heads.
Quite frankly the only reason the terorists havent done anything in the UK so far is they dont think its worth it... much to the charagin of HMG as they'd love to remove some more of our individual rights.
Fox hunting... quite frankly who gives a feck, one way or another the fox is going to get killed, be that a hunt or poison down the hole, which by the way has implications on other animals who may take the bait by mistake or come accross a poisoned fox and eat it.
Its a class thing, basically I fond the "hunts" to be full of absolute prats who quite frankly havent got a clue about the country as they let the managers of the estates do all that stuff.... but so what, its probably one of the last bastions of being english thanks to tony blugh and quite frankly isnt worth waisting parliment time and using the parliment act to force it through so bugh can say that at least one of his election promisses has been fulfilled!
