I was told the same thing. Have sex as the pessaries are loaded with semen. However I didn't try that and was induced at least 4 times and after that it all went wrong. Would never allow anyone to induce again as I think that natures way works best. When the body is ready to deliver it will and any medical intervention could only cause problems.
