How to search for a members profile?

Hello guys - How do I search for a members profile?
There is someone I want to check out but I don't know how to find them...

Go to your My Friends section(on the right hand side of the page) and add their name to your list and then click Contact Member.

you would normally be able to use the 'my search' facility >>>>
as it isn't working now you will have to wait. Sorry !

As Mallock said, if you know their username and spell it how they do, add them to your friends list (it's one of the buttons to the right of this screen). You'll then be able to view their profile and contact them if you want. You don't need the search facility.

Ummmm surprisedops: when I returned to the site early this year and found it had all changed, the Friends list facility was the only search I used 'cos I knew nowt else. :oops:

or if you know their name click on anyones profile and replace the m=nnnn bit at the end of the URL with u=username

My Search is up and running again, we still need to work in the distance stuff but it should be a bit quicker now.

Its great how you can search using "last logged in".. don't have to weed though hundreds of people thats not been online for months now :thumbup:

oh ffs... it isn't working with my firefox settings.
I am losing the will to swing with all my sites not working as I want them to. rolleyes

is it just me or doest it give you nearest spellings as well anymore....... cos am not sure on some spellings and some have an underscore in the name etc and its not giving me anyone but the wrongly spelled name grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
