Just had a quick read of this thread and I can not see any place with all these misdemeanours, where known, have been reported to the Mods or Admin.
Makes me wonder just how fake these people are .

There are some nasty people ot there, believe it or not people mail in with accusations against others being false if they get rejected, I don't know what the solution is but SH needs something.
We did think about introducing a verification system but it's been suggested before and got a really bad reception. Maybe we could work on the MyFiends to display who has Friends.
St3v3, this is a great idea in theory but I've been here coming up to two years in the original chatroom and I've learned the hard way a couple of times about who is and who isn't genuine without having a list of people to refer to as genuine.
You learn the responses of people wanting nothing but pictures, those who are guys masquerading as women. Hell you could even download a section of webcam footage and show that if you were clever enough. People will always find a loop hole.
I honestly believe that trial and error is the only way forward with swinging and afterall its a trust based activity. If you can't trust the people you're going to meet and it all flow naturally without feeling like you're under a hotlamp, then its not going to work out when you actually meet up in real life
Showing people who has "friends" or not who just turn into another massive popularity contest and show no more than the proposed "verification" system who or who isnt real.
This all depends on what you class as a timewaster. If I feel there is something wrong and a person calls it off last miute because they don't want to go through with things any longer, thats human nature and its tough. No amount of screening, verifications, lists, webcams, pictures or references can pre-empt this happening anyway. smile

"Friends" !! are they just the people you (we) have shagged with ? or maybe met at a munch or social ?? If it is the former I only have two friends lol

If it is the latter I have, or had, a website known as SH full of friends.
As for fakes, well in the three years on the site I have had plenty but take it all as part of human nature and carry on with life. I aint got that long left to complain anyway. wink

Thanks to all of you who have replied (with the exception of the guy above - couldn't tell if he was being saracstic/rude or making a point that I just couldn't see... so verification of that would be fab! Lol...)
Since we've posted this we've had even more timewastery fun (we're not just on this site so its not purely a SW prob), inlcuding a 'couple' who wanted web cam verification that I matched my pics - I did that, albeit briefly and was rewarded with a pic of the 'girlfriend'.... on inspection of the pic Mr Snesh and I decided that she wasn't our cup of tea and politely told the couple that... we then continued to get hassled by them via MSN, at which point Mr Snesh said that he was not really up for the chick in the other couple (again, done so politely, as you can tell from the initial post, Mr Snesh is a man good with words...) so thanks but no thanks. We were then sent a pic with the tag line 'whats wrong with my girlsfriend then?' and it was a pic of a completely (and yes, much more attractive lol) woman.. hmmm... when questioned they said they 'accidentally' sent a pic of an ex but then left MSN pretty smartish.....
Added to that the man who threw a complete strop when I dared to say that I may not want to be penetrated by him...(we are quite new to the scene and I couldn't say whether I would want more than soft swap). Perhaps some of you will find his behaviour okay, but consider that we had not
(a) seen a pic of him
(b) Even met (so I was unable to judge any potential chemistry between us)
A bit of a nightmare all in all.
And I must say that single men who *do* contact us have been more than polite when they have been rebuffed, some couples and bifems who we haven't found attractive could learn a lot from them...
