..............with myself.
I'm normally very careful and on the lookout for thieves and other vermin but I was having a meal in a MSA tonight and my caution cost me my phone. mad :x :x
Because I think of the possibility of someone snatching it off the table and doing a runner, I put the paper I was reading over the top of it. When I got up to leave I picked up the paper and walked out.
When I got back to my truck I realised I hadn't got it, went back in to look on the table and it had gone. The management asked all the staff to no avail. No one had seen it or picked it up.
I'm so cross with myself. It's so unlike me but sadly seems so typical of crime-ridden Britain today. banghead
If you had my number, and I had yours, please PM me with your number so I can contact you once I've replaced my phone. Thanks. Oh! And pleaase don't anyone here do anything as stupid, so be warned and be careful.

MAD MAD MAD :x :x :x
Yep theifs are everywhere
I had some young guy run past me and snatch my bag of the back of the pushchair, knocking over and dragging the pushchair down the street a little way with my child strapped in it he didn't give a damn that he hurt my baby as if pinching my bag wasn't bad enough mad
Know how you feel, only last week i stupidly left my phone on the seat of my car, must have fallen out of my pocket as i got out.
Didnt realise it was lost till i woke in the morning to find a broken window and can only presume it was because my phone was left on seat. mad
I would make sure you contact your phone comany quickly as your responsible for any calls made from now untill you report it.
Have you tried to ring your phone and give who ever answers it an ear full?
sorry ES thts a real pain in the arse....
wait till some 1 puts up a stupid post and unleash all that pent up anger into a reply
(not this 1 though)

Sorry to hear of all you guys getting your phones knicked but had to add a nice story to even the crappy ones out.
I was out with a couple of people from a day centre for adults with learning difficulties and we went into a cafe. I left leaving my mobile phone on the table and didn't realise until I had got back to the centre. I ran (nearly all the way) back to the cafe and some kind person had handed it to a waitress.
I admit it probably wasn't worth someone knicking it (it came from the arc lol ) but it just shows that not everyone is bad and there are a few nice people out there.

kiss :therethere:
britain is really turning into a cess pit of crime, makes me sick sometimes....all those hard working people, trying to get by, and the government making things harder for the working man/woman, seems like nobody gives a damn about values anymore, these new breed of youths are gonna be a big problem in a few more years time, no moral responsibility to anyone...i blame the parents.
