In my previous post I made the mistake of trying to work out a womans mentality.
What happened today has just left me completely bemused.
On our way home from visiting friends and family over the weekend, we arrived back home. "Shall we pop into the supermarket and get some shopping Alex?" I asked.
"No. We'll just eat out of the fridge and go shopping tomorrow" said Alex.
So we gave the supermarket the miss and went home. At teatime we decided we were getting hungry. Open the fridge and ...........................
.....................bloody empty.
Next time you suggest we eat out of the fridge Alex...............make sure their is something in it first.

We went shopping today and just had the loveliest Roast Lamb dinner ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Roast tatties, roast beetroot, broccoli, peas, yorkshire puds and lamb gravy, and a tiger bread to mop the gravy
Ooooh and nice glass of wine!
( oh and I got a new handbag and pair of shoes today )

Calista, how do you roast beetroot
Cut it up, drizzle some honey on it and whack it in the oven with the meat! Absolutely delicious and much better than pickled beetroot!
