I must have the latest everything.
Total waste of time as I am now surrounded by gadgets which I hardly ever use, preferring to do things the way mama taught me. biggrin

A 172 is the model car I own...a Clio 02 model...
Fran,
The reason I got the tyres & wheels so cheap is I worked in the car modding & tuning trade for 14 years so know quite a few people ...the tyres are not cheapos but yokohamas which are superb but I tend to get thru a few as I do track days in the car..
I drive too fast & too many miles to be anything but safety orientated...
Jaine xx

I refer the honorable member to the reply I made a few postings above.
Fran
Sorry - which honourable member>????
If there are two things I love to spend money on it's
Clothes & Horse Racing
Now if you were to look at me you'd say this man spends no money on clothes, and you'd be wrong!God I seem to spend hundreds on clothes and still look like I've been dragged through a Charity Shop backwards - though I do get some clothes from charity shops.
One day I took the bold move of clearing out my wardrobes,4 bin bags of clothes to the charity shop - I wonder if there are pensioners out there walking around in any of my Paul Smith cast offs? confused
Horse Racing - well after Cheltenham this week I'd rather not say anything apart from looks like Smartprice beans all week!
Cars cars and more cars
currently 1979 mini 1275 gt owned since new (giving my age away)
Peugeout 106 rally car
Imprezza turbo
All this and a twelve mointh ban. oops didnt see that gatso

biggrin - Gotta say it - the man has taste. If it weren't for act of wife, I would have one. More of an SG man myself, but OMG I would sell my soul at the crossroads for that LPS.
Anyway - my list:
Buying cool stuff for the kids (though its really for me)
DVDs, CDs, Books, Guitar Strings by the dozen.
French reds - in particular Bordeaux and strange Loire reds
Yoss
How great are 1275 GT's! biggrin Much better than Coopers in my eyes!Has it got that box front from the 70's with the GT Badge they were my favourite models.
Apart from my obvious passion for dressing up.
I have a sizable collection of CD's and showing my age i still have several hundred vinyl singles and Longplay gramaphone records lol
I Also follow with a Passion the worst football team in England, fact over the last 3 years no has a worse record then us, but i still turn up. Any ideas who it might be? Well, heres a clue surprisingly its not Sheffield Wednesday. In the summer i love Cricket and Speedway.
I like travel, photography and i'm getting into gardening not really a passionate gardener but i do like my garden to look nice. Also i like 69position smackbottom whip hump and
Hi Sigo
It surely has. Ive built a 100bhp 1330 engine for it too. Really upsets boy racers in gtes and of an old classic like me really lol
Oh yes. Photography. I won't confess how much I spent on the last lens I bought.
Oooh Warwick you really know how to excite a man with dirty talk like that-I once saw a GT with a 2 litre Cavalier GSI engine in it!!!
I had to get rid of my (very poorly) mini in the summer,I followed it all the way to the scrapyard to wave it goodbye-sad I know.
We will get kicked out of here soon and have to start a swinging mini lovers site.
ps I have been really naughty and bought a set of new alloys for it in anticipation of the return of my driving licence.
I love my mini but it does have limitations. Not exactly a doggers dream motor unless you are a double jointed dwarf
Warwick,
suddenly gave me A series , Mr Vizard (or was it wizard ) flashbacks smile
Ah Vizard . Essential bedtime reading for a petrol head of the 60s.
Right up untill the point of finding something better to do in bed lol
I've just spent £100 on a tropical fish tank and stuff - I was only supposed to be getting a bloody Goldfish bowl for me little 'un
Bills will have to sodding wait Grrrrr mad
OMG.........I luv Mini's.............Had 6 of them & worked at the Mini shop. Used to work at Ripspeed too & we bought all the spares from BL when they went so had so many tuning bits to play with...David Vizard was a GOD....oooh shall I start a seperate thread..yes I shall.
Jaine biggrin

I can't seem to stop spending money on Ebay rolleyes
I'm with Misschief, i cant help spending money on anything that catches my eye on Ebay, there is always something i need!!!
Terrible Stevee isn't it!
I just don't know how I got by before I purchased 200 glow sticks 8) (even the kids are bored of em now rolleyes ) - but they were a bargain!!!! lol
I am afraid that its things for the kitchen that consume an unreasonable amount of my dough rolleyes
In every cupboard and on every shelf there is some gadget or other that I once found quite indispensable for a week and then forgot about.
Occasionally I dig out a sandwich toaster or a slow cooker for a few days but they all find their way back into the dark.
Frankly, you can forget your food Processors and similar gadgets, the old Mandolin and a whisk will do the job for me most of the time.
Will you people PLEASE stop talking about eBay !!! Yes, that means you too, my darling Misschief !! rolleyes wink
I've not been on there for a while and all these mentions are getting me curious to pop on and see whats around again........
I can almost sense a needless purchase coming on..........
