Only 8 years since you went clubbing? Is that all?!
Sorry I can't help you with what to wear. Last time I went clubbing was in the ealy 80's and I doubt *those* fashions will ever come back :eeek:
Showing my age now . . . surprisedops: :lol2:
T-J
really depends what sort of club your going to really, as you would look out of place in a club if it was goth night, then again it gould be a dance club playing rave and stuff, or just your average club playing chart music biggrin
Wear whatever you are comfortable in tatty, for me its always jeans no matter what club I am going to.
Can I just make one suggestion, wear a hun :lol2:
I haven't been to Turnmills for years Tatty, but I think the theme for ladies is going to be the same....wear as little as possible and make sure what you do wear is see-through........and edible. lol
oh, and some dancing shoes.
Have a look at this link so at least you will know what you are in for

I hope you have a wicked time hun!.....and remember, if you can't be good....get pissed
OY tattyxpx... ya minx.... ermmm actually wear whatever makes you feel comfy and sexy
and if you want.. i will come by with a few ideas

Just that gorgeous, happy smile of yours, and perhaps a dab or two of your favourite perfume ?
I've got it........................... BODY PAINT!!!
nahhhhhhhhhhh don't think so...... I'd send the body paint company bust!!! rotflmao
Rest assured the happy happy smile will be on that night  , but as for the rest well..... i still aint got a scooby confused
Oh well i best go rest in the sunshine.... OH!! maybe if i tan well in the next cpl days i could go JUST with my smile ;) lol
Well, given the weather you won't be needing a jumper. If I were a girl going out clubbing on a midsummer night stream (sic.) I wouldn't bother with a pair of jeans either. Personally when I go out raving I couldn't give a stuff what I wear as it will get covered in sweat and spilt drinks and the lighting is such that no-one can see what I'm wearing anyway, hence the "bloke in jeans and a t-shirt chewing his cheeks" aesthetic, but you may have some semblance of class in which case this approach is of little or no use to you. It all depends if you're planning to dress to impress or not. I would say that as yer common or garden club gets bloody hot even in winter so it'll be a fucking oven on Saturday. Bear that in mind when you choose your outfit.
The following are no-no's:
Smiley sweatshirt with bandana, whistle, white gloves, dust mask covered in Vicks and massive flares. By all means get on one matey, but maybe get on some new threads as well, eh.
Tie-dye. Why-dye?
PVC nurse outfit. Fine if you're going out PVC nursing, but maybe impractical (and tres chav) for boogieing.
Enjoy yourself whatever you end up wearing. wink

Oh - btw. Could one of the cleverer people tell me what "(sic)" actually means?
(Straight question - not taking the piss)

Sic if the latin word for *thus* so is used to show how a word is used or it's general intentions.
It can show for instance, a spelling has been quoted in it's original context, regardless of whether the spelling is correct or not. In other words, suggesting the spelling mistake is not one's own lol

Thanks T-J.
So in this example . .

is supersachondo simply re-enforcing the notion he's not a girl ?
Or is it a play on words - midsummer night stream/dream ?
I love this site.
Sorrty tatty - go with the smile and perfume. Unless you think chocolate body piant wouldn't melt and dribble too early, on a hot summer's night ????

I rather thought it was a dreadful example of trying to make a joke or play on words

But then, I never noticed that he had much of a sense of humour...
Chris
I know a few people going there on Saturday to see the guest DJ (Tony Humphries) from America.
It will be hot and sweaty in there but quite smart at the same time.
More of a dancing club (as in dance music, a few naughty bits and bobs) than a drinking club.
Tatty darling,
Wear whatever makes you feel good !!!!! Its still gonna be hot so u need something cool !!!
Have a lovely lovely night xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Tatty
As a london clubber I know that Friday night at Turnmills is 'The Gallery"......its sort of listed as a 'glam' night.......you can wear jeans but they have to be smart....you can also wear trainers but again they have to be smart.....

Its a nice club and very friendly.....you'll love it whatever you wear
