hi all
well im pritty frustrated and upset at the same time
i thought it was the law now that clubs had to make allowances for disabled people
phoned nearly all the clubs on the site and they are mostly upstairs the only one that
was downstairs was a one in shropshire
i even phoned one who said i was the only person he'd spoken to in a wheelchair
there must be more disabled swingers out there or am i the omly one

this is my 1st name im english just with a german name xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Unfortunately, some clubs and people make their own laws up!!
thats very true tropper
as i nicely got told that
this is a private run club
nothing to do with the law i was told

Unfortunately for you, private clubs are not obliged to provide disabled access. You can see more info and make enquiries at:

Mike.
Another option would be taking a couple of strong blokes along to help get you up to the club? Ok I agree this is not the most dignified way, but I have helped a wheelchair bound friend of mine to my 1st floor flat a few times...
Like I say not perfect, but you should not be blocked out by poor location.
no its not the law that they have to have wheel chair access, they would never get past the fire safty cheak if it was, probem is most clubs have more than 1 floor cause u can get more stuff in less floor space than having it on a ground floor, i guess they figure the very small percentage of wheel chair bound customers just arn't worth the extra money needed to go into lifts etc sad
