Accept that it is you that is letting yourself down and stop blaming the site as it doesn't have a verification system.

If we have a verification system and it's optional I won't be using it either to show verification or to give it. Who I have sex with is my own business.
If people are not interested in me because I don't have feedback thats absolutely fine. If I have sex with someone it's likely to be after weeks of being in contact, during which time I'm sure that both the other person and me will have used our own initiative and intuition rather than someone elses that I have never met.

why am I not a fan on varification.....because people have always had the choice of picking and choosing what is shown, it is always going to show people in a positive light, you only get to see one side....
for example...... my pet beef... people on munch lists who can't be arsed to let the organisor know they aren't coming along......so If I put down on a varification sheet:
"this person couldn't even have the common decency to let the organisor know they were not going to turn up for this event"
harsh, but fair! not said anything there that wasn't true....
Now with the greatest respect,what would be chances of that showing up on anybody's pages or profiles..... I am guessing very very slim to none..
okay.... saying that... lets move another example onwards....
A guy has 2 varifications, yey!!......but he has also been a bit of a arse, he has let down 10 others, and been a bit pushy with 5 others.......
how would you know? cause i doubt he is putting it on his varifications!
whereas a guy who decides to keep all his meets private well he has been the perfect gent, never let anyone down...

We have no pictures, public or private and our profile is not filled in. Why do we not fill in a profile? Simple. We are not looking for meets on this or any other site, although we have probably met several hundred present and ex-members of this site at munches, parties and clubs.
The first website that we came across verification on was D&M's, well before SH was anything but a tiny site. We had met many of the members and several of the chat room ops. We could have been verified but couldn't be bothered.
We are verified on another site although we still have no pictures or profile on that site. Why did we get verified there? Merely to show some arrogant people on the forum there that we were, despite a lack of photos, able to be verified by several people within 24 hours of being accused of being fake.
What is the problem with verification? It doesn't have to be on display - a tick saying verified can be enough. If you don't want to be verified then don't accept anyone's verification of you, but why should you stop people having that facility if they wanted it. Admin has already said that there would be an opt out if
it comes in so what is the problem? There is certainly an increase in the number of people who would be in favour of verification on this site since the first attempt to have it implemented. Of the thousands of members here, those that post regularly on the forums are a tiny minority. My feeling from watching the chat rooms is that there are far more people who would be in favour in other parts of the site than regular forum users who would be against. Whether verification would solve the "fakes and timewasters" problem is another question, but my opinion is that anyone who relied blindly on verification will still be let down more times than not.

I mean yes, I'm sure there is a dictionary definition but from the many folk I have met (sexually and socially!) so-called 'swingers' cannot be easily pigeon-holed.
I'm not entirely sure I'd label myself as a swinger - but I get more than my money's worth out of the site, again both sexually and socially.
And as for why people are on the site, does it matter? How they use it, does that matter? They pay their dues and they can do whatever they wish, surely?
