would you be tempted to break the law?
just a wee tea time ponderance....would your interest/love of the lifestyle make you want to commit a crime, just so you could continue to to indulge in the pleasures of anothers flesh hump :hump:
Is swinging worth it? lol  :inlove:
what the coppers don`t know won`t hurt them :giggle:
Hey in that case we'd stop! wink Tell you what though.... That word lifestyle really jerks me off. Lets face it we've all seen discussed that swinging is what it is for each individual. So, Lifestyle?? I don't get it biggrin
Maybe we should have compulsory giving of drugs to those under 18 to make it horrid to shag? then slowly reduce the dose going from really horrible to not nice to sort of ok and so on. Maybe that'd sort some stuff dunno
Its arguably only just inside the law, but could be proven otherwise. Any kind of 'arranging' of sexual acts could still be interpreted as corrupt and presented as illegal. Its not so clear cut as you think. opinions can be changed easily in circumstances where they can be manipulated.
You could swing with a partner for many years. Then they decide to divorce you citing the swinging activities as being one of the causes. And bingo you'are up to your neck in it.

I thought and have been told only if you charge for the pleasure!
I have never broken the law!!
And this would be a step to far in my opinion!
I have a great poem learnt at school I would love to add to this post but are unsure if it would be allowed.
It is to do with being taxed on our poking! But does mention a few MP lol

What law is that? Never heard of that. Dogging - yes, as it's in public places - but shagging someone who isn't your spouse? There's no law against that.

Interpreted is prob his key word there.
But isn't paying to go to a club which is a sex club a form of paying for sex? which of course is illegal(and that's a open question it's not my opinion wink ).

There's no law against Norman law any sex outside of marriage is not legal. Marriage licences come from the same time. To my knowledge it has never been changed. So just about everyone has had sex outside the law.
Would anyone do anything about it? No.
'Have you anything to say in your defence Miss Sherri? 'asks the judge
'Erm have I seen you on cam once or twice m'lord?' redface surprisedops:

I am not a lawyer. But I am entitled to know at least something about it to operate in the country I live in. Although this would take several years to acquire sufficient wisdom to apply, thankfully most of it is upheld and supported by our society.
It is not a mathematical formula, or a menu of options, in most cases its highly personal and specific to the people involved.
So you can carry on with your various activites as long as you have the consent of those around you. However should someone object and take you to law you then have a struggle on your hands. Because you are supposed to be leading a faultless existence.
Well we all know this is impossible, except with the assistance of other people who are in each others confidence.
Such 'secrecy' underpins many aspects of society, that is until someone blows the whistle. All the way down from corporate employees, unions, industrial moles to the common spouse.
Then all your activites come under examination and you can be found to be 'illegal' in many ways depending on the nature of the case.
But most accomplished swingers are aware of that and simply desire and fulfill their needs for sex by being adulterers, fornicators etc. Because they enjoy that state of being.
It is effectively illegal because our society does not legalise it. It therefore remains an underground activity, because it can't walk down the streets proudly declaring its legitimacy.

I'd have to disagree with you there Duncan. An act is illegal if there is a law against it. If there is no law against it, it cannot be illegal. Technically it could be called 'alegal', but that just means it hasn't been legistlated about (for or against).
Illegal sexual acts are various but they fall into some groups - involving innapropriate humans (age, mental conditon relationship etc), involving any animals or doing it in public. Arranging to meet up with and have sex with someone other than your spouse is NOT illegal. But it can screw up your relationship and it can be held against you as a moral element to any divorce procedings.
I've noticed that having sex involving vegetables does not appear to be illegal - perhaps that's something vegetarians should become active against. lol

Yeah I'd have to agree also with you, because again it has to be specific to individual cases. Its not a piece of maths.
But in the case of marriage it is against the law of marriage, because you have promised to be the one and only. Our interpretation is a lot more lenient than other countries and cultures. But can be subject to severe rulings in the courts.

I take your point about the marriage vows. Legally I'd reckon being 'unfaithful' could certainly be considered as a breach of promise, or even breach of contract (since each part signs a legally binding document).

Yes that's it. A married couple agree in moral terms and legal terms to live a 'decent' life. Once this comes undone either partner has the right to invoke proceedings to instigate a state of illegality by the offending partner; and pursue divorce to resolve it. This then absolves them of the responsibiity of the other partner and then allows them to wipe the slate clean. Or seemingly so, depending on the outcome of those who adjudicate the proceedings.
So all that 'legality' is very much after the event, and almost non existent during. Because the acts have to be perpetrated to invoke the change in legality.
Oddly enough there are as mnay people who seek refuge, in marriage; from the pressures and temptations of being 'available'. They welcome the protection of the legal state of marriage from the vulnerabilities of being single. Can't wait to put the yoke around their necks so to speak.
was chatting away in scots room (usual haunt) and was saying about this thread......
