Do you tell them if the coffee they've made you is shite?
I must admit on a couple of occasions I've had to do so, much to the horror of J my ever enduring and utterly gorgeous Mrs, I do try to tell them in a nice way though.

i have a range of coffees from purculated to caffetieres to tassimo's to instant it depends on a few things to what they get, just 1 being the time, another is on how much i like them and another being what they ask for, for teas i have teabags or fruit teas. for drinkies anyone is welcome to whatever we have but always better to bring your own

I'm soooo fussy when it comes to tea and coffee. I hate percolated coffee and so instant is the way ahead for me but even then it has to be not too strong with loads of milk. I'm even worse with tea, which I like really weak with loads of milk.
If we go to someones house for a meet then I would tend to drink something cold. If I do fancy a brew though, I either hover over them when they're making it (shouting "take the teabag out!") or I ask if I can make it myself!

You drink Coffee at meets  You ever smelt your breath an hour after drinking coffee? Also the dry mouth it gives you? Maybe its just me but I tend to avoid drinking coffee altogether now as I spend all day fetching cold drinks to get rid of the morning coffee dry mouth

Why all the snobbery about instant coffee? There is plenty of ground coffee that is undrinkable. Instant isn't the same as ground - that is a pointless comparison. Like saying salad cream is no good cos it's not mayonnaise.
