I don't know about all the other guys on here but I have to say I'm turned off by a lot of the porn available as a large percentage of it is, to use an ironic term in some senses, incredibly sexist. Sure, there are exceptions that are well and thoughtfully made and it's a pleasure to find them.
My last gf said although she loved watching others have sex she was really put off by the apparent manipulation by men of the genre so it wasn't representing what she wanted to get out of it. And I have to say I understand.
There are obviously a lot of women who like the concept of porn but it's the presentation that puts them off and I guess a growing number of guys too.
It would be interesting to hear what others think.

i have to agree, i enjoy a good porno film as much as the next woman, but i think there all pretty much the same, man gets woman, man strips woman, man licks woman out and gropes tits, woman sucks man, man shags woman, woman has what always looks like fake orgasm, man cums all over woman.
I can totally understand and I love the idea of seeing porn that involves "normal" peope not the enhanced humans. But as a woman what would you like to see?
My ex used to complain, not about the lack of storyline, but that there weren't enough shots of the guy. She hated the fact that the camera was always focussing on the woman. Her view was that for it to work for her she would like to see the camera close in on the guy's face as he came, not just on the cum on the woman's face. From my own perspective it's lovely to see a woman's face when she comes too, as well as the other elements. It's variety that keep interest I think and if it's to work for couple/women then it should be varied.

i agree that alot of porn is staged and yes there are alot of fake orgasms and why is it the porn industry thinks that us women just want to watch other women having sex that is not what a porn film to me should be about, i like real porn as in home made movies with me and my hubby they are the best for us we find them not staged and we do what we enjoy there is no demand to orgasm on demand (if only it was that easy), we find that when we watch ourselves on the film getting turned on it is more effective try and see what we mean

I really don't think the porn industry has any interest in "token" women on the credits - there are plenty of women involved in making porn who are aiming their material at women (Candida Royalle, Anna Span, Sharon McKnight etc).

Personally speaking, 99% or porn films I've seen that have tried to have a storyline have been so awful that they''ve turned into comedies- being able to write or direct a good sex scene doesn't automatically make someone great with dialogue unfortunately!

However, I have been told that I have a particular male viewpoint sexually, so maybe I'm the freak and everyone else who wants stories and 'normal-bodied' people are the one with the more sane opinion...
