if you could choose a talent to have what would it be???
mine would be singing :karaoke:
i don't have any desire to be a famous singer or anything but would be nice to be able to hold a tune so when i'm singing along to the radio people around me don't look horified :eeek:
so what would you like to be able to do that you can't already do?

I wish I could do 'style'. I can make things, mend things and such like. But I can't choose things and put them together and get a coherent style going.
It doesn't matter if I get stuff from John Lewis or Junk Shops, my house still looks like it was furnished by a comittee that never met.

Go slow, experiment to get the best angle, relax the throat (that's like whistling, once you can do it it's easy, but you can't describe how you did it), breathe slowly out through your nose as you move forward (until you can't breathe anymoe at which point DON'T panic). Don't bob up and down cos that WILL make you puke. If it becomes a problem, pause rather than pull back, move forward again once your throat realises it's ok.
Oh, and be the right way up - in a 69 or similar, your head is below your throat/stomach and gagging becomes much more likely.
Having your tonsils out helps, but isn't mandatory. biggrin

I can draw and I paint, portraits mainly, its very relaxing ..... anyway .... it'd be singing for me .... although I think I sound great in the shower (not sure the rest of the family would agree)!!!!

well get ya self off to college and do the relevant courses hun its never too late i'm a hairdresser and for me its the best job in the world i've done it 22 years now and still love every minute
i have friends that went to hairdressing later in life and have never regretted it find a salon locally and volunteer to put in a few hours whilst doing your course too it makes a huge difference you will find the course a whole lot easier and its also a foot in the door once you qualify
