If its one year into the future the only 2 things different would be I would be another year older and my other half would have been away for 5 months working and he'd only have another month until he came home.

I would. I'm not good at waiting for things. I often read the last few pages of a book when I'm about half-way through. Trouble with that is, I then lose interest in reading the rest of the book unless I'm totally gripped by it already. I'd only really want to see what my own immediate family were up to. Although, where we are at the moment, I don't envisage changing radically in the next 12 months.

I would have said that 12 months ago, though. My life is currently changing radically.
