Glad to say that I am back online after major trouble with my PC after trying to install Norton I have now invested in a nice anyone hep me out by recommemnding a good antivirus to download for free on the in anticipation.

i find norton antivirus and other prducts from the same manufacturer ,,good easy to install and value for money
could you have wrongly / misloaded it ?

I use Avast - - free to register and have had no problems. They email you a licence key which lasts for 12 months, after which you just re-register. Auto-updates each time you are online.

I have norton anti virus on this computer, and have had nothing but trouble, my other computer i had antivir personal adition, which i downloaded for free, and havent had one problem with it.

Thanks to everyone for their replies,especially RHG and Tracey,now why didn't I think of that.I have it sorted now and hope everything will be if one of the mods could lock this thread to save anyone else wasting time on again thanks everyone.
