Good ad, Dambuster. So it wasn't aimed at you.
And I never mind being arrogant and sanctimonious if I'm right.

Quote by sexyfellaI don't think it IS the case, I think it just looks that way because nearly all the people looking are single males.
Iv been on other sites before this one and ive noticed single men have a much harder time to find what there looking for can anyone explain why this seems to be the case?

Well from a single female perspective, I don't know how it is for single guys but I do see a few ads that I just think 'why do they bother'??? In my opinion, for many women, mostly, (see how I'm hedging my bets here???) sex, even tho it's sex through a swinging site, needs some sort of seduction/preamble. Isn't there some cliche about the most erogenous zone being the brain???
I'd want to meet a single guy if he was polite but flirtatious in his initial approach (PM or email reply to my ad), then if he went on to tell me a bit about him (personality does count!) and was honest and open, perhaps even to a fault, admitting some foibles is good in my book. Someone friendly, confident, with a wicked sense of humour and a broad minded attitude would go down well.
I would NOT want to meet someone who expects me to give them my address within 2 mins of MSNing with them (and then gets tetchy or rude when I won't, and calls me a timewaster or as one particularly polite young man did, a 'fat whale') who wants me to go round there 'right now' or someone who is clearly only interested in 'fucking me', i.e. doing something TO or even AT me, not thinking of whether I'm enjoying it or not.
Don't know whether this makes any sort of sense to anyone except me, but I just thought I'd add my two pennies worth.

There is a side to this single guy stuff I haven't seen discussed yet. It's a sort of syndrome I've noticed which I could call "Right here - right now!". Very often I have had contacts with single guys who want to meet me. Meet me now!!! "Can you get to Macclesfield by " Me : "No but I have some free time this weekend." Him: " ". ie nothing.
So one minute there are all these guys responding to your post or ad but because you can't leave within the next ten minutes you've blown it, apparently. And then, suddenly, after some weeks you get :"Hello - remember me? I'd really like to see you. Can you get to..." and so on.
So I have started to identify this pattern - "am randy - want woman - she can't come - best wank then - don't want her now".
Am I right? Anybody else come across it?
So my advice to the single guys is be patient. Accept she has a life to lead. Keep in contact and be prepared to plan.
