Ah well , ive lost that one.................................................................................i had money on you never coming back here!!! sad :( :( :(
Cheers Sharon!!
Umm........ dunno
lol
I personally wouldn't want to sleep with someone who was cheating on their partner......but I have no problem with anyone that DOES want to do that....
In my opinion, as long as the person cheating is up front with their prospective lover and tells them that they have a partner already it is then up to the prospective lover to decide what they want to do.
Just thought I'd put my two penneth in..... biggrin

And why are genitals banned from Avatars?

I think it's something like this:
1: Avatars can be seen by anyone who happens upon the site, whether registered or not. Not everyone wants to see kebab and sausage the min they click on a link.
2: That's the rules - live with it.
3: Er....
4: That's it.
Don't want to challenge THE RULES, but aren't the huge advert photos just as accessible as the tiny avatars - without needing to register to be able to see either?
.................... and do people actually wander into this site by accident? (I suppose you could think it was a site for 1940s Big Band music enthusiasts!)

I have to say I am utterly appalled by the attitudes expressed by some people here. The judgemental nature of so many posters on this thread is almost enough to make me wish I had never found SH but the fact that I have seen how supportive other people on this forum can be makes me less eager to run away screaming. Where, on this site or anywhere else for that matter (or is there an 'Official Swingers Handbook' that I have somehow missed?), does it lay out the rules of what is and what is not swinging? Who gives anyone the authority to state whether cheating is either acceptable or even if it is swinging or not? What authority does anyone have to take someone to task over what they state in their introduction? As foxylady points out there are many people with many different habits or preferences that many of us here would not be interested in so why do certain people feel it is necessary to give one poor woman (and I don't agree with the conspiracy theories flying around) a hard time about her private decisions? The only acceptable comment from anybody should have been 'Hello and welcome!'!! mad
There is a time and place to debate the ethics of cheating (in fact there was a thread on that very subject last week) but not in someone's introduction unless they had asked for people's opinions. Ok, Sharron made a mistake and should have posted in the LMU section but that doesn't give anyone licence to offer their opinion of her or her actions. Some people need to take a long hard look at themselves! :x
That off my chest all I would like to add is:
"Hello Sharron! Welcome to SH. I hope you enjoy your stay and are not put off by the negativity already expressed. Some of us are actually nice people, believe it or not. I hope you find the fun you are looking for and wish you well."

i'm sick of biting my tongue on this one, so i ain't gonna any more! lol
to be brutally frank, the constant disparaging and dismantling of posts and posters from certain quarters is wearing REALLY bloody thin! the constant tag-teaming of a mere handful of members who continually comment on others posts and ram their unasked for opinions down their throat is annoying and tedious in the extreme. the "oh you misunderstood me" cop out when they get pulled up on it, is quite frankly, complete crap, cos they do it ALL THE TIME, and we can read in between the lines well enough to pick up on the intent.
there is a time and place for debate and discussion. this was not it. and it strikes me as the worst kind of hypocrisy that some members should so obviously delight in commenting on the quality of other peoples posts, when all they seem to put up is negative, sniping, thinly veiled personal comment at every damn opportunity! rolleyes clearly they value the right to express opinion dearly, so i'm sure noone will take any offense at this, or assume for one moment i'm having a personal dig at anyone, will they? confused

Two cracking posts. I agree totally with the sentiments of donsidelovers and neilinleeds and the other posters on this thread that are fed up with the petty spitefulness of some of the members here.
If this thread was a genuine introduction then it should make us all feel a little ashamed at how we've allowed such unpleasantness on the forums to continue for so long.
If it was a wind-up then it's blown a real breath of fresh air through the forum. It's good to see so many people are so fed up with the forum police.

keep it running - wont be long before another innocent victim asks a question and is lambasted by the moralistic SH tag team

Well you could thread them on a piece of string and make a set of Thai love-beads. Failing that I'm reliably informed that there is a chronic shortage of "." in LMU ... you could send them over there and kill two birds with one stone.

I like the love beads idea best. I'll need to get some holes to put in them - do you think I can use the centres from some "O"s or would they be too big?

Not if you use the same technique I use for crosswords when the word has too many letters for the boxes ..... just write smaller!
Having added the centres of some small "o"s, what must I do with the middle bits of the "."s that the centres from the small "o"s displaced? dunno
But you've already got the answer ...........................

Right Some of you are going to be suprised that I am replying again on this thread
I have had a few pms with Sharron and I have asked her if she would like to come to the Leicester Munch in September. I feel this will give Sharron an opportunity to meet a lot of people off the site in a purely social setting where no one is under ANY pressure.
I do understand about her home background a lot more and I have apologised for some of the content of my posts which were a genuine effort to try to prevent potential heartache. I still do not condone cheating but I can understand it better and I thank Sharron very much for helping me to see this.
I was going to place this on the Munch thread but have thought better of that. I want people to see that I would be very happy to have Sharron on the Munch list and I hope she will be in a position to accept an invitation when they go out nearer the time. Being a Carer for people with a disability I am very aware of the time constraints placed on Carers.
I hope that we can all put this thread behind us and move forward.
Sharron something I should have said earlier

Well what a can of worms you have opened here
Nice to see we can all express our opinions on the forums.
Whether we are right or wrong it is only OUR opinion in OUR eyes, who are we to be judgemental of others & try to push OUR morality onto them, whatever their circumstances :!:
I for one wish you all the best anothersharron & hope you find what you wish for on here.

Late too the party as always,
