Not Rich Teas... they are a travesty. Grrr!
cadburys chocolate rich tea biscuits.
try this .....
buy a penguin
remove wrapper
nibble off one corner of said penguin
nibble off opposite corner of said penguin
dunk one nibbled corner of penguin into favourite drink
place other nibbled end into mouth
suck
once your drink hits your mouth from the penguin "straw" remove from drink and stuff the lot in your mouth
wait for lushy slushy taste explosion
orgasm
Always, always, always ginger nuts, for any drink. They stay together and don't fall in your drink, but go deliciously mushy on the outside. Best ultimately in coffee, obviously. The next best quick dip for tea is Rich Tea. The best quickie for Hot choc is chocolate hobnobs (we took a vote).
What an excellent thread question!
We've now been sat here for nearly 2 hours argueing this one!!
The consensus is
Hot Chocolate
Any buscuit with chocolate or for an early morning 'dunk' a croissant or madeline.
Tea
Herbal Tea - why waste a good buscuit?
Standard Tea (PG etc) - plain Hob Nobs, Rich Tea or plain Digestive.
Proper Tea - (Earl Grey etc) - it's not socially acceptable to 'dunk'.
Coffee
Instant - who cares!
Latte - Coconut buscuits of course!
Expresso - Can't find a buscuit small enough to dunk in the stupid cup!
Americano - gotta be Oreo's
Freshly Ground Beans - Digestives or Ginger Nuts
We're now off to see what's best 'dunked' in a selection of wines and beers.
Chocolate digestives in pairs, chocolate face to chocolate face so you don't get sticky fingers -- plate held underneath in case of load induced structural failure (alternately borrow grand daughters bib)
Scrap the biccies- I have seen the future.
Take a Terry's chocolate orange bar, dunk in tea, suck/nibble, repeat...
Hmm, I think I have a damp patch...
dry doughnuts (ring)
coffee.
Lincoln Biscuits
Cocoa

...would that be one of those plastic bibs that turns into a drip-tray at the bottom?
In which case can I recommend a spoon too?
(this may be dependant on the quantity of biscuits to dunked)
