id check you also havent got the rear fan pressed up against anything like a curtain or something that would block the hot air leaving.
i give my towers a mini service twice a year. disconnect everything and remove the covers (both sides if you can). lie it on the table & get a clean paintbrush about 1 inch wide and the hoover then carefully brush the motherboard, cables and casing and anything else dusty using the hoover pipe to collect the dust as you brush it. do the same with the fans, brushing gently from the inside and sucking the dust up from the outside, if you have a front fan, and your feeling brave, you should be able to remove the front of the case & clean inside there as these get very dusty.
if your removing anything, remember to do a quick diagram of how it goes together, if it's still running hot somethings knackered.
