Given that there are roughly 50% Males and 50% Females in the world you would think that both sexes would have had roughly equal numbers of partners.
So in the interest of science and being noseyâ€¦â€¦.. and with apologies to all other sexual persuasions (no disregard intended, this is purely an academic exercise).
How many partners have you had in your lifetime, so far?

When you say partners are you talking full intercourse sex partners or anyone with whom you've been intimateat any level?
It's 6 in my case anyway, 2 for Morbius (well that i know of ;) )

Somewhere between 40 and 60. Not gonna count. Last time I did count, was about 40, I think. There's been more since.

You have to remember that for about 20 Years I was a Professional Musician, touring the world with some reasonable named bandsâ€¦.. OKâ€¦â€¦.. rolleyes

And I may not have always wanted to end up in some of the places I woke up inâ€¦â€¦â€¦. wink

And remember that sleeping on a tour bus with 4 other blokes and a driver, you sometimes just may have slept with someone to get a shirt washed, a cooked breakfast and a double bedâ€¦â€¦ lol

Between 1400 and 1450, I thinkâ€¦.. sounds bad, but it only works out to about 1 a week on average over my active lifetimeâ€¦.. and some days there were more than 1 (on one day there was 4 different girlsâ€¦.. that was Braintree in Essex of all places)â€¦
Nearly all of these were one night stands, maybe 100 or so were regular when we passed that way againâ€¦. And 6 were what I term as â€œlong termâ€. :shock: surprised

Surreycouple, I am sorry you disbelieve me, your prerogative.... I am not going to defend myself, It's not a bragging thread... I know thatâ€™s the number, thatâ€™s it....
Now back to the question....... the reason was to see if there is an imbalance with the male / female members here in SH, it has always perplexed me as in the "everyday world" girls (in general) say they have fewer lovers than men say.... I just wondered as people are more open here if that was still the case.

I'm not telling you my number, but I got to say Frogster I "DO" believe you, I work in the music industry and recently was on tour with a band (not mentioning names for fear of getting please get me tickets PM's!) but I stayed with the band on a number of occassions after gigs and during the travel and almost every night one of them would have a different girl, I shouldn't be telling you this but even to the degree that in the less reputable places prostitutes were laid on for the "less attractive" members of the band to "get their Kicks"
One of the roadies became famous for the number of women he slept with on the tour (bear in mind this is over 6 months) and he was well into the late 100's
my number personally is nowhere near like that, but then I was a late starter at 18 so redface

anyways I heard the rule of three applies... divide the number a man says by three you get the truth multiply the number a woman says by three and you get the truth :-)

Oh, I could tell you a story about the time we hired a girl for our new drummer... it was bad of us but what a scream.... he had no idea we had done it, went of with this girl who he thought fancied him, came back the next morning to the bus and said something like "She hadnt had a man for 3 years...
