I don't know why some people have begun to think it's acceptable to start throwing drugs into the coversations on here because it isn't.
What you do in your own private lives is entirely up to you but on here we don't use spliffs or joints and nor do we get 'shroomed up.
Enough hints have been dropped but they seem to be going unheeded. To put it plainly:
Any future posts/threads referring to drugs or illegal substances of any kind will be deleted!

Information on Drugs (was: Getting rid of the dopes...)
I had 3 pints of bitter last night Steve.
I spent much of the 80s and early 90s trollied.
I am more level with it now but I had my brush with one the deadliest of the legal drugs.
Too scared of the other illegal stuff,certainly keep away from that.
Not a dope smoker or smoker smoker myself - but LOADS of people on here must smoke dope,loads?

hi all,
this is a very serious issue, and the general population of the U.K do not use illegal substances, but there is a minority. it is without saying, a difficult subject to cover as alot of people do not understand the complications it may cause.
there does seem to be an underlying faternity, using illegal substances within the circles of some swinging groups...i have tried on numerous occasions to try and broach the subject, but without success, as i do feel people need to be educated on the misuse of drugs.
i agree, this is a friendly site not willing to discuss these issues in the open forums, but i feel that it may be a good idea to have a 'risk' thread about illegal drugs and the dangers they pose, numerous people are still very much in the dark and very Niave about the DANGERS of drugs.

I was UNAWARE of the sites policy on this, however never thought that discussing it would really harm anybody!!

A post saying "avoid this club because half of the clientelle are spaced out" is totally different to a post saying "pass me another joint" or "my husband is 'shroomed out on the settee".
I'm not saying that there aren't any drugs out there because we all know that there are. We're all adults and whatever people choose to do in their private lives is entirely up to them but I don't see why this website should be seen to condone or promote it.

I think given the content of this site it is important to the types of people using this site and I feel in any case should be common knowllege for anybody to at least try and protect themselves?

Scotland is going to be a NO Smoking Zone. Smoking will be phased out of pubs, resteraunts and other public places by 2006, if anyone wishes to smoke (anything) they will have to do so outside. I believe that if you wish to be sanctamonious about the subject of drugs, perhaps you should also have a "phase out" period.

hmm maybe but I def think urban75 is a good option! It covers everything and neither advertises nor condone drugs. Is merely an informative non bullshit information and has very regularly updated news and it doesnt sell drugs or drug cultivation equipment so it doesnt advertise although It does provide links to various events and other resources!?

I've always been in favour of having helpful drugs info on this site, cos whether we like it or not some people on the swinging scene do take drugs - legal and not so legal - and drug is a REAL issue.

Steve I agree with you saying "I don't see why this website should be seen to condone or promote it", it shouldnt, it should neither judge or condone, it is not big brother, no-one was morally undermined. I accept that cannabis can be harmful and that its use should be discouraged. However I do not believe there is anything to be gained by exaggerating its harmfulness or ignoring the fact that some people on this site are likely to use drugs. Ok there was a few joints floating about at the orgy last night, but so what, I would hope all that was reading posts in the forum would be liberal enough to allow an accurate representation of the community to co-exist without being overlly morale or too judgemental about their personal habits. You cannot get Virtual-Passive Smoking, you are not going to gain credability on the site by banning all drug references.
