Wasposed to be going lucy but had to cancel
it should be a great event though
I'll be avoiding it as far as possible, and hoping traffic for all the events stay off the M27 between 8am and and and 6pm... please! It was bad enough during the tunderstom on Friday, but I absolutely hate traffic jams when I'm doing my daily commute!
rolleyes

must admit, I prefer raspberry to traffic jams! although I have the whole week off so won't be stuck in any biggrin
Should be good but is gonna be chaos, schools shut police on all roads into the city!!!
Should be brill fom the sea to anyone crossing the solent to and from the Island.
Hopefully going out on a mates 40ft Motor Cruiser for the Tuesday - if not watching it from the Beach

Three cheers for the one-eyed, one-armed adulterer...

Just to bring my usual pedantry to the occasion, he had two eyes, all the time. He only wore the patch after stone chips damaged it at Calvia, but when it got better he ceased to wear it. Sometimes wore an eye shade, and didn't see so well through that eye. But not blind or one-eyed.
In the heat of battle at Copenhagen, with the time to be witty, he did put a telescope to his dodgy eye, thus pretending not to see his superiors recall saying, "A man with one eye has a right to be blind sometimes", but twas never so.
He did however lose an arm at Tenerife, so be careful what you get up to on holiday lest it should happen to you! lol
