Just thought I'd ask something!
I've recently had a wonderful adventure with an 'intersexed' woman, and would love to repeat the experience. Unfortunately there were unalterable reasons why it had to be a 'one off'; so I'm wondering if anyone hereabouts knows a good place to advertise...? Is there a website or dating place for intersexed women and people who love them...?
And: I don't, umm, suppose there are any such ladies ... advertising ... *here*, are there...?

What is intersex?
Technically, intersex is defined as "congenital anomaly of the reproductive and sexual system." Intersex people are born with external genitalia, internal reproductive organs, and/or endocrine system that are different from most other people. There is no single "intersex body"; it encompasses a wide variety of conditions that do not have anything in common except that they are deemed "abnormal" by the society. What makes intersex people similar is their experiences of medicalization, not biology. Intersex is not an identity. While some intersex people do reclaim it as part of their identity, it is not a freely chosen category of gender--it can only be reclaimed. Most intersex people identify as men or women, just like everybody else.

:thumbup: Whilst on the subject of PC (sorry thread hijack) we was up the pub earlier warming up before the bonfire party later (you can tell by the crap I'm writing can't ya lol) and someone was saying that the terms BC (as in before christ) and AD are to be replaced as they are no longer politically correct......... can't make me mind up if he was havin a larf or not

The replacement terms are 'BCE' ('before common era') and 'CE' ('common era'). They've been in use academically and elsewhere for ages: it's nothing to do with 'political correctness'.
