For me there's usually something personal, selfish (of me) or pervy that attracts me initially someone via their posts. (Sorry - I am a bloke after all)
I generally build up "an idea" of a poster.
Ok - I can be wrong, and get totally the wrong idea of someone, but that's a risk I gladly take, and part of the fun. If I'm I'm wrong - just leave me with my fantasy. Thank you.
The single most thing that does come across is attitude, along with a sense of being "alive" Having a spark.
That intrigues me.

And then when you finally meet up with that person...........
The attraction is then still on physical and meta-physical levels.......
The personality hopefully is as good as in writing or chat....
The conversation would flow on all levels and subjects....
I like eye contact and would look for nice eyes........
The spark that initially drew me in would hopefully still be as strong..... and......
The remainder of the evening would be totally and utterly private.........

Apart from emphasising the point about the eyes, and eye contact; volumes can be spoken with the eyes. Particularly if there's a certain, unspoken "something"

The first thing that attracts me to someone can be a witty remark, a cheeky smile or a sparkle in their eyes.
What makes me want to know them further would be if they are intelligent or witty enough to keep my attention.....its mostly about personality for me!
I prefer a man to not be too shy in coming forward....shyness can sometimes be a turn off for me - I like the direct approach and I also love to be wanted!

It's the first thing I look for when I meet someone new. I usually try to find it before we speak. I look for something that says something about them (like their taste in clothes or their body language) but often it is their eyes or the way they smile.

Honesty, you can tell when someone is being honest or if they are talking bullshit just to get u into bed. I think that is something u can pick up even on here

Eyes............got to be expressive.

I have to say
Eyes do it for me too .......smiling eyes
Smile,.....and a cheeky grin.
Someone that can make me laugh but still hold my attention with conversation.
Someones voice can attract me too without even seeing them.
The smell of someone is the icing on the cake if they have all the above.
As with Fee I have a good 6th sense for someone and I'm usually pretty much spot on.
