My wife came home today and told me her supervisor asked the room who irons underwear. Turns out it was only the supervisor.
The thing is do swingers iron underwear more that none yes I did ask what kind of parties she went to.

Once my undies are in they are snug enough not to need any creases taking out. :giggle:
If I was in the habit of wearing bloomers (or harvest festivals as my mum would call them) I might iron them - but since no-one would ever see them there wouldn't be any point. So, no, I wouldn't iron underwear.
Mid you, I'm no guide - I only iron cotton shirts about one wash in ten and nothing else sees the damned thing. I've never seen the point in ironing most things - careful hanging sorts the worst out and most clothes are creased the minute you put them on.
I did know someone who ironed socks. Bonkers.

In answer to the original question no Mrs Tweeky does not.
I only know of one person who did and that was my Dad. He ironed everything though, socks, pants, handkerchiefs and towels He even ironed creases down the front of all my jeans :mad: very bad news when you only notice just before your about to be picked up for the pub with a bunch of teenage girls

Socks! Have a curiosity about it. I come from a culture that irons everything, underwear towels and sheets are a must because everything is line dried in the open air. It is partially for sterilization purposes and partially because cloth gets so hard/crispy/crumbled when dried in the sun. But even there NOBODY EVER irons socks! Though they do fold them neatly, doubly folded if there is time to spare, so that they are "easier to put on" (the convenience of this practice is highly debatable).

This thread made me curious in case I was missing out on something apecial, so I ironed a pair of my boxers. To be honest I won't be bothering again 'cos as soon as they went in the drawer they got all creased up again. Maybe I should be putting them on a hanger in the wardrobe? ;-)
