Just wondering.... Do you find it a little rude if you give a detailed response to someone’s thread and they don't even bother to acknowledge it.
Maybe I am just expect too much from people?

wink my wife gives a detailed response to any question she feels im in need of being told the answer to
she hopes that answers your question lol
Sometimes people only read the original post and hit reply, sometimes people may read your reply but try to respond to the thread in general.
dunno Don't take it personally.
x
Hey Nola I don't take it personally at all it is merely an observation. I just think if you are telling people what they want to know then a little acknowledgement wouldn’t go a miss.
To everyone else, just so I can’t be called a hypocrite thank you so much for your valid response and particularly for informing me that Luton have a football team that could be really useful one day. smile
No worries I wanted to give a detailed response to your thread smile

does that mean for the other 30 odd Saturdays they will be crap? wink
Now of course different threads require different responses.
QUITE OFTEN I think there tends to be a pattern. If someone is asking a sensible question that requires specific information then they tend to get one from someone that "appears" to be rather knowledgeable. Very often they then ignore the response.
Whereas when someone throws out a pretty open bit of drivel such as this thread it attracts 2 kinds of response. That of the wiser person that has been around a little and that of the "let’s see who I can wind up because I am incapable of saying anything of any use".
Personally I love people and are very interested in reading people’s behaviour so I love them all.

A very valid and probable point

If someone is asking for specific information, it is only polite to thank anyone that responds with said information.
Not sure about the second paragraph as sometimes the written word can be misconstrued...maybe the poster sees it as humour whereas then reader sees it as an attempted wind up. That's not to say that there aren't any out and out wind up merchants in these forums.

well they win most weekends so i guess the point is not a valid one :)
I agree with all of that max and I can be most certainly guilty o miss reading someone’s humour. Therefore tend to play with it a little to see which way it goes.
Good or bad? - Not too sure but be assured nice people always rise to the top. This week’s rioting is a typical example - an idiot in the press one day and gone the next.
The focus in the local communities will soon belong to those that put it right.

Hey good news pal that's what we love to hear on here.

That is a great result without a doubt. I support Birmingham but keep that quiet because we had an awful season and quite deservingly went down.
Still above Luton though so don't push it! wink

Your very right they were.
I have never been into Leeds football but used to be an avid visitor of the Rhinos.

Rhinos are the ones that play with odd shaped balls! I'm not from Leeds...just a long suffering supporter
