Would there happen to be any electricians in the house?
I could do with a few hints to help stop me from blowing myself up!

depends on what you need PL, give us a clue. If its something I know about I may be able to help ( I aint a qualified sparky but I do a lot of electrical work for friends )

Always try and stand in a bucket of water when doing the work , to insulate yourself . Seriously , I know a little bit more than average so PM if you want to ask hun x

Be ultra careful!
When I disconnected my old electric oven I turned off the power using the wall mounted switch in the kitchen , turned off the mains AND took out the fuses!!!

PoloLady you will do anything to get a dirty workman in overalls in your house won't you? Why not avoid plugs and wires all together and just use battery-operated utensils and appliances wink

?
But if you really cannot live without your power drill, , crimper and sandwich maker, wrap yourself in fluffy roof insulation every time you have that electrical urge.

So you're not looking for a man with a big toolbox and a bag of raw plugs anymore then?
Cool. I had one ready to dispatch to you , but seeing as you are no longer in need of his screws and long cables, I'll get him to give my place a once-over instead. I like a good re-wiring on a monday. wink
