Is there actually anyone out there?

Hi, I have just searched through 13 pages of peeps within a ten mile radius of us, admittedly only looking at couples and single females actually in the same area as us(sorry guys)
I think only one couple had been on line in the last two weeks, the rest were nineteen weeks upwards the most being 427 weeks since last on line!!!! Is there not an account shut down for lack of use or something??

There are a few people around!
Yes, some people appear to have been here for years without logging on - if you can call that being here. But at least, now you can search and get the list in order of 'most recently logged on' - that is a new development of the last few weeks and much to be appreciated. That way, at least, you can find out who is active around here and therefore might read, and might even respond, to your approach.

May be look in the lets meet up section for any events going on in that area and getting your name down on the invite list might help.
It might be too late for this but you could try and send single tulip a pm and ask that is if you are free and interested in going.

yep people are out there but in saying that have been chatting to people in chat rooms and thier profile says they have not been on for ages ah well the chat goes on lol

Good point about the account shutdown - figures are not accurate if they aren't updated.

Why would admin shut an account down just because it's not been used recently? Considering that people who have joined since December 2005 have had to pay, surely it's up to them if they decide to pay their money and not make use of the facilities? As long as they pay and don't break the AUP, there's no reason for admin to close down their account. The figures are accurate in that they are the numbers/locations of people. I don't see anywhere on site that it says everyone uses any particular part regularly.

Umm - interesting point, but it seems strange that people would pay good renewal money and not use the site. Perhaps they just use another part of it. The thing that I thought of was "do we know that people have paid renewal? Or does the software just not delete non-renewals?"
Any moderator reading this, it would be good to have it clarified - thanks.
