I started writing a long response to the original post, taking each point and replying.
Then I thought "Fuck it. I haven't got time for this!!" confused

Basically, if you don't like it, go!!
Nobody is keeping you here. The site has evolved into what it is now and humour is a large part of its popularity. Without the humour this place would be boring.
If you went into a pub and didn't like it you would just go to another one that you do like. You wouldn't set about changing the pub and all the regulars in there.
So, either join in with the site as it is or go and find one where everyone will be nice to you!! rolleyes

Been sat here all night reading various posts .... all I can say is what a shame it is that despite the best efforts of many to inject some fun into the site ... i.e. Masquerade, GFZ etc this post about bullying has stayed top of the lot sad

I agree that an undercurrent of hitting on newbies has been noticed but FFS instead of whining about why don't people join in? If you don't like the thread you're reading then read a different one, if you're bored then do something different.

Dino, it wasn't my intention to be condescending, but NS said his sense of humour had long gone. Sorry but if someone's in that kind of mood, why bother. Some people are actually trying to make light of this thread. Perhaps the people who steer clear of contentious issues don't have anything else to add to another thread?
