Yes...piss taking does go on......most of the time it is in good fun....usually a baptise of fire just to see if they have a sense of humour, it gets nasty is when the true colour of the of the poster come's out.....alot of people can spot a troll a mile off!
And a small minority who as far as i can see,, trawl the forums for no other reason than to flame, be-little, humiliate, ridicule and rip the piss out of other posters.

I don't know if bullying would be a word that I would use but I do know why you chose it. It is the closest word to how I feel some of the forum members are behaving. There is less and less of the humour pisstake with encouragement and more of the humiliation going on sad
I do normally keep quiet and don't make serious posts because I don't want to get involved in any arguments. Recently I'm often looking at posts thinking "That was uncalled for".
Just telling people that can leave if they don't like it, however true that is, I don't think that should be the answer. We should, as Normad says, give mostpeople more of a chance. Most trolls are fairly obvious but anyone making a piss poor attempt to join the forum is often ripped to shreds which just causes them to get pissed off and abusive.
I think this post deserves my consideration. I do on occasions make a stupid, what I consider to be funny, though are probably not, reponses to some newbies posts. Call it "keyboard tourettes" but sometimes I just cant resist.
If I thought I was bullying or purposely humiliating someone, I wouldnt do it. But I might be and not realising it. If thats the case, perhaps pmming me or whoever it is doing it, might be way of stopping it.

According to something I've read, you don't need chalked pentangles, black candles and skulls and all that gubbins - all you need is two bits of wood and 10cc of mouse blood!

As with all things it is a question of degree. One person's piss-take is another's bullying - 'twas ever thus and it is human nature - so trying to change it is futile.
I have in the past stepped in to help one or two whom I thought were being 'bullied'. Sometimes I was right sometimes I was wrong. I don't bother these days generally because there are so many new people and you've really got to spend a lot of time gauging what sort of person they are before being able to say whether they deserve it or not.
It's the law of the jungle - but it wouldn't hurt some of the inveterate 'piss-takers' (to use the kinder description) to think a bit before they sink their teeth in.

Blue's resurection munch will commence at today.... For the resurection to be succesful each of you needs to sacrifice half a pint of your own blood, drawn by sticking your SH pin into prominent veins and sqeezing hard, and the body of one SH newbie.......
There is no time for all the secret PMing of the location shit..... The Munch will take place in the SH chapel, which can be found in a small clearing in the woods to the West of SH Towers.... Please note, those woods are a well known cruising spot..... if you do not have a newbie, just grab a cruiser on your way, their blood is always very sweet :twisted:
Please make your way to the Munch Venue now following the pictures below........

PLEASE HURRY........... only one attempt can be made to resurect Blue......... otherwise Blue will be trapped in Swinging hell controlled by the Forces of the Darkside for all eternity........

when i first joined up and wrote my first post i new i would have a hard time of some but i stuck with it and now me and my partner have made so many friends.
sometimes the piss takes are a little harsh but it seems to sort people out and with it the best people stay and the ones who carnt take a joke or a bit of fun leave so all in all its not a bad thing biggrin

ive been around the site for about 18mnths now and yes there is sarcasim and lively banter that goes on ive only been posting for about a month or so but ive come accross nothing but good natured friendley helpfull people ive been looking through the forums for ages and never once thought bad of any post or reply, from what i can see the mods are here to help and always do, there also here to look after the site and weed out the posts that are rude or in bad taste or blatently break the rules, im looking forward to the baptism of fire (will there be wax......o yer) ha ha lol :cry: :cry: :lol: :lol: havent had it yet but looking forward to it when it comes........ just be gentle with me because i scare easily.... :scared:
