wasn't room in there for a two inch paint brush with dirty bristles was there, I've a door to gloss tomorrow and it seems such a waste of white spirit.

mrs davej has just pointed out your post to me in a somewhat over eagar manner.....I think she was getting nervous cos she had read the post about filling up a bum with white spirit, realised that my brushes are dirty and that I don't have a paint kettle and was making 2+2 come to 5.

Don't you believe the manufacturers claims, it's all bollocks, nothing can fill a crack that big and stay in place, other than maybe that expanding foam and I don't reckon I could afford that.......

Ah I tried useing half a plastic bottle, but found that what I poured in, just ran straight out and it was also difficult to get it to stand up unaided, I will probably try it again in the future and perhaps retain the cap to keep the liquid in, but I reckon the bugger will still need to be propped up.
