I think that at the moment the forums are really quite easy going. I think that there is less bullying and jumping on bandwagon type posts than there has been in a long time. Since I've been looking at forum to be honest.
The place is alive and kicking with more posters than ever before and has more topics in it than a train station sweet shop. The place is rocking with people. Sometimes its almost too fast before topics drop off the page! But hey these could be a new set of halycon days in forum so indulge yourselves.

Just did a test
Picked someone who is in the forum now.
Put him in my favourites, it showed on my favourite page that he is in the forum, but on his profile page, shows as browsing.
Im confused!!!!
Actually I logged into SH the other day on my phone but didnt stay. Close the web page down but I was later told I had been online all evening when I knew I hadn't sooo it appears there are echos of people being on line.
its weird,i have freinds in list, the initial page may say they are off line, yet if you open the profile they are on line.
was chatting to friend last night,in chat and when i looked at the profile it said they were off line, now i know before it would log you out if you were not active in forums etc,but didnt think that was the case now?

I think people get over sensitive here to be honest.
I spend a lot of my professional life trying to get people to understand the simple concept of 'I can agree with you without having to like you and disagree with you without disliking you' and vice-versa.
Some people get facts and emotions confused sometimes and it all gets a bit messy.
And to be honest, in my opinion/experience, anyone that posts to say they are leaving anywhere doesn't really want to - same as somebody who wants to kill themselves really - i.e. the minute they tell you 'I'm gonna top myself' you know it's really just a cry for help/attention. NOT that I'm saying anyone wants to kill themselves or anyone else here... just that the concept is the same.
