Single guys, pay attention...
We know it's only a few of you... but I am now SO fed up with editing adverts you've placed in the wrong catagory, I've given up moving them and am simply deleting them. The warning is there when you post you ad - in ruddy great red lettering!
If you can't figure out which catagory your ad belongs, you are unlikely to be able to put a condom on and I see it as an act of public health and safety to delete your ass out of the ad system!
You have been warned!

If you're a female seeking a male partner then you would be looking in the males seeking female ads.
We've had this discussion many times. It only takes a minute to see which gender are supposed to post in which category and the added warning on the submit ad page couldn't make things clearer. :doh:
If I see them first then I still do move them into the right category but it looks like I might be in a minority (which is unusual for single guys on this site...

And everytime I stop at this thread to post - I get sent off to sort ads out.In answer to your question Petesue - Everyone gets it wrong sometimes, but it is a particular problem with adverts from single blokes. This is for several reasons:
There are more of them, because there are more single blokes
Many have been so obviously not been given any thought at all, you are left thinking "I have probably spend more time on this advert than you have"
You will often find single blokes have posted in both men seeking women and women seeking men - now that really pisses me off!
You get the same names crop up time and time again. - yes eventually we do get sick of them and suspend the user name
There are just so bloody many of them!

If something's obviously in the wrong place, don't try to work out where it should be, just bung it in "Room 101"

It is not really the time spent moving the ads around, but I probably spend about an hour a day reading adverts, most of which are "Men Seeking Women". Which, despite much evidence to the contrary, is not exactly why I joined the site!
I go to sleep at night counting the cocks instead of sheep. It is all very confusing! :shock:

Steve... I gave up moving them months ago-- if they want a secretary then they can pay me, if they can't read then they don't deserve to get laid and if they're being stupid then they deserve to get deleted.
I've not yet banned anyone for having ads in wrong sections, too busy banning them for telephone numbers, offering money, offering unaware wife, swapping pics of unaware wife/girlfriend, posting a picture of a rifle pointing at the viewer, posting a picture of a child standing up in a cot with a huge adult sized penis attached, being abusive or thinking us mods are stupid!!! And that was just an hours' worth from yesterday....

One must admit to being suprised about how many single guys just get it wrong - in even the simplest things.
Surely, many of then must have been under the influence of vast amounts of alcohol/drugs or whatever when they post. Would it be worth doing a study as to what time they post the ads.
