We often use the phrase to describe something that people tend to love or hate.
So I thought I'd try to work out what else is truly a love/hate thing.
I'll start with beetroot. Hot as a veg and/or pickled seems to divide the population into grinners and gurners.
What else is there?
(Apart from the food of the Gods - Marmite itself - of course)
what about white knuckle rides at theme parks? are they a love or hate them thing or possibly flying? I know two people who hate because they scared, because they hate the feeling.
I guess if we're talking food then would black pudding count? Personally I can take or leave it but know the rest of my family are quite divided.
Whelks.
Or any other shellfish for that matter.
*vomits*
Cricket...
You either love it...or could not give a flying fuck what a silly midd off is....
Personally...I dont like cricket....oh no..I love it... biggrin

I do actually vomit, so best keep them away from me. :scared:
other things i can't stand and can't work out why anyone would
Friends (the tv series)- It's as funny as genital ebola and i want to kill the entire cast by lowering them into a vat of boiling oil, in a kookie and ironic way of course, all with the sound of canned laughter in the background
Simply Red/Mick Tosser Hucknall- They're a second rate covers band, even the 'original' stuff they do seems to sound like something else with a hefty dose of blandness added (this can also be applied to anything by The Lighthouse Family- the musical equivalent of a coma)
Ferne Cotton- I'm not sure whats more annoying, her voice or her face? maybe if we ran over her head withh a steamroller there would be an improvment.
That should do for a start, i'm supposed to be filling out a job application for the BBC, an organisation that does actually piss me off on numerous occasions
dunno
jo and jays cauliflower cheese omg its to die for
Steak and kidney pie or anything with kidney in bluurgghhhh
Semen.
