I'd just like to introduce myself as I guess half of you won't know who the **** I am. My name is TE and I'm as good as dammit a new member. I'm six foot four, dark haired with big brown eyes........ What???? Ooh alright - bollox - it's me :!: :!: :!:
Well I suppose you all thought I was on another holiday. Well I was - in flucking cyberspace. I'm suing the travel agent for getting me DNS wrong or something. Anyway it luvverly to be back 'cos that is where the heart is innit.

This is just to say thanks for all the kind messages here and on the Exceptionally Techie thread. You don't know what a relief it is to be back. All the PMs will receive a response.
I feel like Windle Poons in Reaper Man when the Fresh Start Club return to save him from inside the Big Store.

Errrm - just on that point. I want to assure everyone that it's not contagious or infectious and that I practise safe cybersex at all times lol

:lol: The only danger seems to be if you are using NTL as your ISP - something to do with proxy servers (don't ask me). But it does seem that you can ask one or two people around here - especially as they've walked me through the storm. It is probably worth having a look at the solution to the problem that Pierced Jon suggested and JQL has explained in the Exceptionally Techie thread, make a note of it and keep it just in case. Being cut of was very frustrating and I only survived because I had a very good friend here who I could contact by e-mail to call out the cavalry.
What a wonderful place this is populated by some truly top class people.
