I just thought i'd let you all know, better get shopping then!! lol :lol2:
Have to agree with you on that (even tho it's reluctant agreement) as the "Studio" catalogue arrived today. That's it. No going back now.

Can't be that bad,at least you get a day off work though!!
Oh, thanks for that rolleyes Why can't people leave mentioning Christmas until an appropriate moment ? 24th of December, say ;)
(I agree with Vix)
Yeah, I get a day off. Some of my colleagues don't though. (OK not THE DAY, that is one that still holds) But colleagues that work for my bank in locations such as branches in shopping malls, have to work on most Bank Holidays. Being a big-wig in my union, I am constantly at the throats of the bosses.... which of these words don't they understand: "Bank" or "Holiday"?
Great :bounce:
That means there are only 100 days to my burfday!!!!!!!!!! :bounce:

Must be a sign of age... but I used to start feeling hungry for my Christmas turkey at about this time of year. What am I talking about? I'm hungry now, or that just because its tea time? biggrin
Spent today with my parents. My mum bought a Christmas present for our children, talked about what else to get them, asked where we are having Christmas this year, offered to buy the turkey, discussed what she will feed us when we go to them over the festive season, asked me what Matt & I want, offered to make us a Christmas Cake & a pudding, then asked what they're going to buy the kids for their birthdays which are in January & March.
After all that, all I can say is, I'm amazed it's as much as 107 days!

Yes, I know it would be a terrible abuse of Mods powers but she mentioned Christmas FFS, I would be driven to it and, in a court of law, would be declared 'not guilty by means of severe provocation' biggrin :D
:P
They've even got advent calenders in our local supermarket rolleyes
Xmas should be seen and not heard.........

Christmas? I'm still waiting for summer to begin.
Bah humbug and all that .. I hate Christmas, too. Last year was the first time in 5 years that I've sent cards. One year, I volunteered to work Christmas Day - was only 4 hours, mind, then I spent the rest of the day in my tiny cold flat watching shite and drinking Black Russians. Now, that's my kind of Christmas.
I love christmas!!!!!! flipa
I do nothing and i mean NOTHING!
Christmas Eve out for dinner with a treat for the kids
Christmas Day at the In Laws not allowed in her kitchen
Boxing Day down to London to my sisters for family party
3 days and I dont have to cook or clean!!!!!!
You know it's getting near Christmas when they have Easter Eggs in ASDA
I'm not looking forward to Christmas at all this year. My beloved Nan died on Xmas Eve last year and so all future xmas's will be difficult sad We ended up going through the motions last year for the children and it was so hard.
If it was down to me we'd fly off somewhere warm and sit on a beach all day.
I know what you mean Calista. My grandad died just after Xmas back in 1991 and Xmas has never quite been the same sad

Hugs Bluexxx .... I hated xmas previously but now it's even worse. Morbisu family are deeply religious and don't celebrate Xmas and sometimes I think they have the right idea.
i love christmas hope santa brings me sumthing kool xx
